CHAPTER XI - MIDNIGHT DEMON

I woke up feeling sore in the middle of the night.Im naked, its bcoz Em's kinda a sex freak these days even if shes taking her meds..

I grope and I cant find my girlfriend."Emily?"Where is she?

I sat up and covered my naked chest..Its really dark in her room and I cant barely see a thing..But when my sight stays towards the sofa..I saw a pair of eyes watching me..

Oh fuck! My heart is beginning to beat so fast...I'm about to scream when I heard my girlfriends voice.

"Why are you afraid of me?"Emily said.

"What the hell,Emily?!" I shouted."You frightened me!"

"Im just watching you..."She answered,almost whispering..

"Can you comeback here so we can sleep?!"What the fuck is wrong with her?! Shes acting weirder and weirder,everyday.And it scares me alot!

She remained sitting in the sofa and stares at me.And Im having goosbumps coz she wont stop staring at me..I inhaled deeply and goes back to lying..Ill just sleep..Shes not going to kill me,right?

I dont know whats happening to Emily but its obviously not good.I have to ask an expert..I think shes getting worse..

"Why are you going back to sleep?"Emily asked.Her voice makes my entire body shivers."Dont you wanna have fun?"

"Im tired,Em..." I answered with a sleepy tone..

Then I felt her presence above me...I tries to push her..

"I want you.." She kissed me so hard..I dont know what to do,anymore so I gave up..

She was my sweet morning
Then my acrid evening.
Crimson dawn will soon be
Arrived

"What happened to your lips,Ali?" Aria asked me.."It has a .. cut?"

Were in my locker waiting for the other girls..

"No!" I quickly covered my lips.."Its.. its nothing..."

Aria just looked at me frowning,dumfounded with my reaction.And clearly not believing me.

"Its nothing,i swear.."I looked away..

Actually,its not just cuts,but bruises all over my body.Well,whats new? Emily is hurting me physically,almost everyday.After hurting me,shes going to cry and apologize for what shes doing to me.And she always wants me by her side.

I sighed at the thought..

"What are you thinking?"Hanna tap my shoulder..

"N-nothing.."I cant even look at my bestfriend.Im afraid they might see the bruises in my face that ive been covering with concealer..

Emily is doing a group project with her physics clasamate so I have time to go to Radley.I need to ask some questions about my girlfriends condition.Coz obviously shes getting worse and worse,everyday.

Im driving using my dad's other car.Im heading to Radley when my phone vibrates.

Emily is calling..

"Babe?"I asked trying to sound casual.

"Where are you?"She asked calmly..According to what Im hearing..Shea in good mood.

"Ill buy some ingredients for my Mac 'n Cheese,babe.."I answered cheerfully."I wanna cook for you tonight. "
