So, I’ll start off with my crush in fourth grade because in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade I didnt have a crush and I kind of forget third grade. He was in the same class as me and his name was Chance. We were both about nine years old at the time. I started liking him in the middle of the school year about a month before the third quarter started. One day in the third quarter of the school year our class was on our way to the computer lab and one of my old friends, Sami, was talking to me about her crush at the time. I dont remember anything she said though because i was whatching out for where i was stepping, i kept looking at Chance, and it was years ago. However, i do remember that when she was done with her story she asked me to promise her that I won’t tell anyone who she liked. I pinky promised to her and to this day I never broke that promise. Mainly because, like I said, I don't remember but it's the same difference. After that, she asked me who I liked. At first I said nobody trying to get out of telling her, but she knew I was lying, so she asked me again a couple more times and I continued to say no one, but finally she got it out of me. I sighed, looked around in the line because I knew that Chance was somewhere in the line and anyone could be listening. I saw Chance up ahead in the line, about four people in front of us. I bit my lip and whispered in her ear, “Chance.” She gasped and looked at me as her chin dropped. She asked me if I was serious and I said, “Yes, but you have to promise not to tell him.” She looked at me with a straight face and didn’t say a word, then before she promised she grinned slightly and looked back and fourth between Chance and me. She slowly walked a little faster in the line so that she could catch up to Chance. She then told him how I felt about him before I could stop her or pull her away. Talk about backstabbing right... Anyways, I stopped liking Chance after that day because I was so embarrassed  and I didn’t talk to Sami for weeks or even a couple months. Then, our teacher assigned us to be partners for this big project that was worth a quarter of our grade and we had to talk to eachother. Then the year ened softly without any other major drama.
