Don’t look down.
I told myself as I paddled,
For I did not want to drown.
Don’t look down,
If I did, I would be rattled.
I don’t want to see fish when I look down.
Don’t look down.
Nobody could help me,
There was not another person around.
Don’t look down.
I was alone in the deep sea,
Only five miles left to town.
Don’t look down.
I couldn’t flip,
I couldn’t back down.
Don’t look down.
I looked for a nonexistent ship,
I couldn’t help but frown.
Don’t look down.
I was alone,
All I wanted was to be on solid ground.
Don’t look down.
I was stuck in a tidal zone.
Don’t look down.
