Cook Out (Part 1)

Mom has been living with us for a few weeks. I've spent some time with Marcus while his dad has caught up with Mom. They are really close to each other. Aunt Marie has also come to visit and they spent some time together. Uncle Simon has moved his pack here as well so he is always over here. All of our packs were having a cookout together this afternoon. Every month since we've moved here we've had these cook outs.

                "Niall, come here please!" I yelled. I had no clue where he was in the house. A few minutes later he was in our room.

                "Why didn't you just use the pack link?" He asked with a smile on his face.

                "I honestly didn't think about that. Anyway, so Uncle Simon and Uncle Matt are coming in a few days so we can have our monthly barbecue. Do you think you and the guys can get it set up?" I asked him.

                "I think we could do that. What all do you need help with?" He asked.

                "I need help getting food and organizing games and stuff."

                "Oh! I can help with the food!" He almost yelled. I chuckled a bit.

                "I know you can, that's why I called for your help. I need you to go get this stuff." I said and handed him a list of groceries. He quickly ran out of my office. Next I called Harry and Louis up.

                "Whatcha need?" Louis asked and sat down in one of my chairs.

                "I need you two to get up some games for us to play. We are having the barbeque with Simon's and Matt's packs in a few days." I said. They both looked at each other and got huge smiles. They then ran out of my office just like Niall had.

                A few hours later they were back. Niall had bought a ton of food, which was good. Louis and Harry went all out. They rented a bouncy house, some balls for a ball pit, which they were putting together now. They got some other stuff for all the older people. We had contacted the two packs and they were on their way.

                Adam, Blake, and Liam were cooking all the food. We had three large industrial grills set up in our back yard. It was enough food to feed an army. Louis and Harry were getting the bouncy house inflated.

                After a few hours of getting ready both of my uncles' packs were here. Niall and I were talking to Marcus and his mate Brook. She is a really pretty girl. She's tall like him and has light brown hair and blue-green eyes. She's so much like him it's ridiculous. She's extremely energetic and very athletic. She's also really smart and she's not afraid to voice her opinion and she has a twin brother that I'm pretty sure has a crush Zoe. They met each other at one of the YouTube meet ups.

                     After I talked to Marcus I went to find Jack and Finn. They were some of the funniest guys. Before I found them though I went by the grill and saw Niall drooling over the food that was cooking. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and went to find the twins. They were sitting by the pool with their mates. Jack's mate was a short adorable girl named Caitlyn. She has brown hair and has red and blonde highlights in. She also loves to sing and is really random sometimes. Finn's mate is also short and her name is Katie. She has strawberry blonde hair and has brown eyes. She's also really pale. She's really nice and funny but sometimes she worries a lot.

                "Hey guys," I said and sat down beside them.

                "Hey Aussie," They all said together, which was really weird.

                "Are y'all having a good time?" I asked and they all nodded. We talked for a little while longer and I went to visit more people. I next went to see Joe and his mate, who is also named Katie. Her hair was blonde and really curly and she has blue eyes. When everyone first met her she was really shy but once she got comfortable with all of us we found out she was actually really sarcastic and funny. She's also very kind and caring and also crazy and energetic. Joe also found out from the start that she could be very stubborn. She was really good for him.

                After playing a few games with Niall and the kids we ate some. None of us have seen Caspar yet though. Marcus said that he had just recently found his mate so we figured he was getting to know her, if you can catch my drift. While we were eating I heard two identical squeals coming from Starr and Storm. They got up and started running towards a blonde boy. I heard him greet them and knew it was the South African boy. I also heard a growling coming from the girl that was standing beside him. She had dark brown hair and green-blue eyes. I thought she would quit growling but when she didn't I ran over to the four and stood in front of my daughters.

                "Caspar honey, if you would please have your mate be quiet for two minutes so you can explain why my daughters were hugging you." I said and glared at her. She immediately shrunk back at my glare.

                "Olivia, these two girls are like my nieces. This is Starr and Storm and their mother Beta Aussie Horan. Aussie, this is my mate Olivia." He said. I nodded to the girl and she slightly bowed.

                "I apologize," She said. I told her it was alright and we went back to eating. While we were eating we talked some and caught up with everyone. When we got done we decided to play a game of soccer. It was the British pack against the American/British pack.

                It turns out there were a lot of athletic people on both teams because it ended in a tie. Being mostly werewolves and vampires there was quite a few bruises and scars forming.
