The next morning I woke up and Niall was ever so softly rubbing my small baby bump and singing to our unborn baby girl. Even after all these years he still managed to make me fall in love with him every day. I pretended to still be asleep just so I could listen to his beautiful voice. As I listened I realized I recognized the song he was singing, it was from a movie we had the kids watch when they were little, it also happened to be one of my favorites.

"Look how she lights up the sky

Ma belle Evangeline.

So far above me yet

I know her heart belongs to me.

Je t'adore, je t'aime, Evangeline.

You're my queen of the night

So still, so bright.

That someone as beautiful as she

Could love someone like me.

Love always finds a way, it's true.

And I love you, Evangeline.

Love is beautiful.

Love is wonderful.

Love is everything, do you agree?

Mais oui!

Look how she lights up the sky.

I love you, Evangeline."

He kissed my stomach and then kissed me on my forehead. I opened my eyes and gave him a kiss.

"Evangeline?" I questioned him.

"Erm yeah," he said. "I thought it would be a good name for the baby."

"Evangeline," I said slowly letting the sound fill up my mouth. "Hmmm, I like it," I finally decided.

Niall's POV

I was ecstatic that Aussie and I were going to have another beautiful baby girl. Eighteen years ago the fates blessed us with five wonderful children who forever changed my life, and now we were lucky enough to have another. We both knew this pregnancy would be complicated because Aussie was not supposed to be able to have another litter. The only thing that bothered me was Calum; he was not supposed to be my baby's life mate, she was supposed to meet him when she was much older.

I wasn't so upset with the age difference as I was upset with the idea my Evangeline's heart would already belong to another. The aging process of the non-human race is quite complex; for the first twenty-one years we age the same as normal humans, it is not until then that our aging process slows way down. Although Aussie and I are well into our mid thirties we don't look a day over twenty-five. By the time Evangeline was grown Calum would appear to humans as only four years older than her. But I loathed the fact that I would never fully have her heart, I needed time to learn to let her go just as I have with my other children, but I am in no place to question the fates.

I got out of bed and went downstairs to make Aussie and myself a cup of tea when I was stopped by Louis; something was wrong.

"Have you talked to Aussie about anything weird going on?" he asked.

"No, why; what's going on?" I questioned him.

"I'm not sure," he responded "but something is definitely off around here. Ally is acting strange."

I thought for a moment, "Now that you mention it she was tossing and turning all night which is unlike her."

"I knew it!" he exclaimed.  "Maybe this has something to do with the fight Adam and Grace had yesterday."
