Me and Chase sat in the back with Faith and Kaiden. Their bright blue eyes stared back at us. Faith cooed lightly as she tried to grab my hand. Kaiden would be a loud little boy since he was making noises. Faith was always quiet and didn't make a lot of noise. Once we got back home Dad carried Faith's carrier and mom carried Kaiden's. Faith would be a daddy's girl like I am and Kaiden would be a mommas boy like his father. I had to smile when West barked at the twins. Kaiden tried to look for West while Faith didn't care. The twins will melt peoples hearts. I feel like Kaiden will be the trouble maker while Faith will be the quiet and innocent one. Mom had gotten Kaiden a onesie that said 'Mommy's Monster' on it. Dad picked out one for Faith that looked like Captain Americas suit. He said he'd get her a matching shield. Mom and dad took Kaiden and Faith to their new rooms while me and Chase played with West. I bet Faith and Kaiden will love their new beds. Better than the ones at the hospital.
"So who's your favorite?" I asked Chase.
"Kaiden. I'll teach him how to play pranks" Chase answered making me laugh.
"I like Faith. She's quiet and not as loud as Kaiden" I said with a smile.
"You just like her more because she's a girl!" Chase said.
"Kaiden will probably be a trouble maker like you" I said.
"That's cause I'll teach him" Chase said with a smile that had mischief written across his face. Mom and Dad came out from their hiding spots with smiles that basically said they heard our little conversation. I couldn't help but laugh at the face dad had. He laid down on the couch and fell asleep. Mom was also really tired but she'd be tired most of the time. Mom decided to sit down since she was still sore. Chase sat down and played with West. Soon mom had fallen asleep. Faith began to cry so I got up and walked towards the nursery. I picked up Faith and rocked her gently.
"Hey, Shhhh it's okay sissy's here" I whispered bouncing her lightly. Chase entered the room and sat down on the rocking chair. She still cried but not as loud anymore.
A dream is a wish your heart makes.
When you're fast asleep.
And dreams you will lose your heart aches.
Whatever you wish for you keep.
Have faith in your dreams and someday,
Your rainbow will come smiling through.
No matter how your heart is grieving if you keep on believing, a dream that you wish will come true.
I sang softly until she was fast asleep in my arms. I laid her back down in her crib. I looked over to see Kaiden was awake and had a face that meant he was going to cry. I quickly changed his diaper then laid him back down. He soon fell asleep.
"Thank you" a voice said startling me. I turned to see mom standing at the bedroom door.
"I thought I'd help a little bit. You and dad need your rest" I said as Chase exited the room.
"Chris is making lunch now. I'll need to get the twins up. Will you help me get them put to the kitchen?" Mom asked.
"Sure" I said picking up Kaiden since he was closer. He was really cute. We brought them out into the kitchen and ate lunch. Mom and Dad put the twins back in their room so they could sleep. I decided to take a nap on the couch with West laid on my stomach. I love West. I miss East.
