Camp Out

Me, Amber, Toby, Luke and Stephanie sat in the tent in Amber's uncles backyard. I couldn't help but laugh when Amber scared Luke. Amber went to go get marshmallows but when she came back she hit Luke's side of the tent. We started telling ghost stories. Amber almost made Luke pee himself. I couldn't stop laughing.
"And they were never seen again" Amber finished her story leaving Luke terrified to out of the tent. Toby sat there unfazed by the story.
"G-great story A-Amber" Luke said.
"Is Luke scared?" Amber asked smiling.
"J-just a little b-bit" Luke stuttered.
"I forgot to tell you guys the Winter Soldier trailer came out!" I said making Toby jump with excitement.
"Come Megan you tell a story" Stephanie said.
"My old friend from the orphanage told me this. A long time ago there were 5 friends. These 5 friends wanted to play a game. Well they didn't know while playing this game they woke up something dangerous" I said in a spooky voice.
After stories Amber had an idea of going into the woods near the house. Luke shook his head no but the rest of us were already out of the tent. Luke had to come with us since he was to scared to be left alone. Amber and Toby carried the flashlights. We walked over broken tree limbs making them crack. Luke was wrapped in a blanket and was shivering with fear. Me and Toby went down another pathway while the others went the other way. I smiled as Toby shined the flashlight on an old barn. We walked towards the barn and I pushed the door open slowly. I couldn't help but feel an eerie felling coming from the barn. We walked inside and Toby shined the flashlight around the barn. It was old and smelled like mold. I found a light and turned it on. The light flickered before turning on. I saw an old tractor in the middle of the room and there were some old tools on a table. Cobwebs were everywhere. I turned to Toby who was looking at the tractor. I wonder who's barn this use to be. I opened the other door and a black cat came running out scaring the crap out of me. I let out a yelp and ran over to Toby. The cat ran out of the barn and Toby couldn't help but laugh at my foolish actions. I punched his arm before continuing to look around. I went into the separate room and found a light switch. I turned it on and found an old car probably from 1940s. I heard something from behind and I turned around to see Toby no where in sight. I furrowed my eyebrows before looking around. I saw the flashlight on the ground. I picked up the flashlight and pushed the door open before stepping back outside. I shined the flashlight around outside wondering where Toby went.
"Very funny Toby, come out jokes over" I said as I heard a loud slam and I turned to see the barn door was shut, "Toby?" I didn't find the courage to move my feet. Instead of moving forward I went backward. Slowly backing away from the barn.
"Toby this isn't funny!" I said getting a little scared. I was slowly going up the path. I heard what sounded like footsteps cracking the tree limbs and leafs. I turned to see a tall figure at the top of the hill. I screamed and dropped my flashlight and bolted the other way. I ran as fast as I could. I saw Amber, Luke and Stephanie ahead and I ran faster. Amber turned and saw me as soon as I tackled her into a hug.
"Where's Toby?!" Amber asked.
"I-I don't know" I said as we all saw the figure. The color drained from our faces and we were too scared to move.
"RUN!" Amber screamed and we all took off running. Luke looked terrified, so did the others. We ran up the other hill only to be stopped by a taller figure.
"Other way" Stephanie said but the other figure stood at the bottom.
"Through the trees and back to the house" I whispered as we ran through the trees and off the path. Stephanie tripped and I went back to get her.
"Go!" Stephanie said as I looked up to see the figures getting closer.
"No one left behind" I said helping her up and we took off. We got inside the barn and Amber shut the door.
"Where's Luke?" Stephanie asked just as we heard a terrified scream which sounded like a girl but it was Luke. Amber opened the door and came back with the blanket Luke had with him.
"Uh oh" Stephanie said.
"This feels like a horror movie" Amber said sitting down, "I'm gonna miss Luke."
"I miss him and Toby's humor" Stephanie said.
"If we don't live I want you guys to know you're both like sisters to me. And I have a crush on Luke" Amber said.
"You two would look cute together" I said as we heard someone outside. Then that someone erupted into laughter and we all knew who was behind it. I walked over opened the door and stared at Tom and my dad. Luke and Toby stood next to them with goofy smiles on their faces.
"I think I almost peed myself!" Amber yelled making the four boys laugh even more. Dad pulled me into a hug.
"Sorry Pumpkin. Toby and Luke were behind the idea of scaring you" Dad said as Tom pulled off the black sky mask.
"YOU'RE TOM HIDDLESTON!" Stephanie said in shock making Tom laugh, "OMG I'm such a huge fan."
"You got is good" I said.
"I guess we did" dad said giving Tom, Toby, and Luke a fist bump.
"And Halloween isn't here yet" Tom said smiling. That meant they'd pull a big prank on us. This will be terrifying.
