"I don't know, Tom" I said burying my face in a pillow on the couch as Tom made tea and got bowls of chocolate pudding.
"She sounds awful" Tom said with a chuckle as he brought my bowl over to me. I groaned loudly.
"She is!" I said with a mouth full of delicious chocolate heaven making Tom chuckle at my foolishness.
"Maybe give her a chance" he said as he poured tea into the cups.
"Do you hear your self-" I asked swallowing my pudding before continuing, "-right now?!"
"What makes her so bad?" Tom asked.
"Have you met her?" I asked.
"No" he said.
"Exactly" I said, "you don't know how she acts. How she treats dad! She has him wrapped around her finger!"
"I think you're overreacting" Tom said setting the two cups on the coffee table. I looked up at him.
"No I'm not" I said shoveling some pudding into my mouth.
"Megan" Tom said in a warning tone.
"Tom" I repeated the tone but with my mouth full, I quickly swallowed before talking again, "I just feel like something is off about her. Plus I came here for advice, not to be told to trust her."
"I know" Tom said taking a sip of his tea. My phone went off and I looked to see it was a text from Dad.
Hey Meggy. When you get home I have a surprise for you :) ~ Dad

"That was my dad. Thanks for the tea and pudding, Tommy. I got to go" I said hugging my best friend.
"See you around kiddo" Tom said as he stood up and walked me to the door.
"Of course. Hey I still have those tickets to go to England" I said.
"I would love to show you around again" he said smiling.
"I would love for you to show me around as well" I said smiling as I walked out of the house and walked down the street. I got home and closed the door behind me with a smile. I wonder what he had as a surprise.
"I thought about what you said. And you were right. I don't know anything about Mallory. So I broke up with her because of that reason. Megan, I should've listened to you. I guess I'm just a hot mess" Dad said rubbing his hand down his face.
"Uh your mine and Chase's hot mess" I said laughing as I sat down on the couch with him and I hugged my dad.
"Thanks Meggy" he said kissing my head. I started to get an idea. A smile formed onto my face.
"Deep In The 100 acred wood Where Christopher Robin played You'll find the enchanted neighborhood Of Christophers childhood games" I sang softly.
"A donkey names Eeyore is his friend And Kanga and little Roo Theres Rabbit and Piglet And theres Owl But most of Winnie The Pooh" Dad sang.

"Winnie The Pooh Winnie The Pooh Tubby little buddy all stuffed with fluff He's Winnie The Pooh Winnie The Pooh Willy nilly silly ol bear" we sang softly together.

"Winnie The Pooh Winnie The Pooh Tubby little buddy all stuffed with fluff He's Winnie The Pooh Winnie The Pooh Willy Nilly silly ol bear" we both finished. Dad rubbed my back with a smile. I kicked off my shoes and laid my head in his lap.
"You'll always be my little princess" he said in a soft whisper as he kissed my temple before I soon found myself falling asleep like old times.
