I hugged Toby goodbye. They were going back to Baltimore. He said him and his family were moving to Boston soon. Amber butted into our hug and hugged us both. So did Stephanie and Luke. One big group hug. I couldn't help but cry a little bit. These guys became like siblings over the time they've been here. We all pulled away from the group hug.
"You guys are awesome. I'll miss ya Meg" Stephanie said hugging me tightly.
"I'll miss you too Steph" I said smiling.
"Move it she's been my friend longer!" Amber said hugging me and she picked me up off my feet, "you are really light!"
"I know right!" Dad said laughing. Amber squeezed me tightly then put me down.
"Bye Meggy" she said messing up my hair.
"Miss you too Amber" I said. Luke hugged me tightly and so did Toby.
"I'll text you" Toby said.
"Okay" I said smiling widely.
"Peace out Girl Scout" Toby said.
"Same to you my Marvel Buddy" I said making him laugh.
"As to you Mrs Georgia P-" Toby started.
"Come on!" Amber said grabbing his shirt collar and pulled him towards their gate. I laughed at Amber's actions before giving the group one last wave goodbye. They waved back and I kept on waving as we walked toward the exit. Dad waved like a goofball causing Amber to jump up and wave around. Dad and Amber have this kind of funny sister brother bond. We got towards the exit and climbed in the car. We drove home and I ran inside to give mom a hug but she wasn't home. Chase and the twins are home. Chase was asleep on the couch and the twins were asleep in their little baby swings. I couldn't help but smile. Dad picked Chase up and carried him back to his room. I saw Faith wake up and open her blue eyes. Dad walked over and tickled her little sides.
"Hey sweetie" Dad said as her blue eyes twinkled. He turned to me and smiled, "she reminds me of you when you were a baby." He walked over and hugged me, "I don't want you to grow up."
"I'll try not too" I said feeling tears in my eyes.
"But no matter what you'll always be my little girl" he said kissing my forehead.
"Dad, can I stay here forever?" I asked.
"You wanna stay here with me, forever?" He asked smiling.
"Yeah. I like it here" I said returning the smile, "I don't want to leave." Then I was crushed into a big hug.
"Of course you can stay here forever" he said.
"Promise me you won't leave" I said, I could see that in his eyes those words broke his heart.
"I promise I would never leave my little pumpkin" he said as I could see tears in his blue eyes, "I would never leave you."
"Just making sure" I said smiling.
"You little goofball" he said.
"Have I ever told you you're the best dad ever" I said.
"Have I ever told you you're the best thing that has ever happened to me and that the Winter Soldier premier is coming up in about 1 week" he said smiling.
"That means I have to find a dress!" I said making him laugh, "and I'm happy I'm the best thing that ever happened to you."
"I wish you were still a baby!" He said hugging me even tighter.
"Yeah well squishing me won't help" I said.
"I can try" he said as we sat on the couch.
"The Little Mermaid?" I asked.
"Let's watch it!" He said getting up. I got up and picked up Faith. She looked so much like me when I was a baby. I've seen pictures, I could compare myself to her. I'll teach her to draw. I put her back in her swing and looked at the sleeping Kaiden. I'd teach him how to draw as well. I sat back down on the couch and we started watching The Little Mermaid.
"You'll always be my little princess" dad whispered kissing my head with a smile. I love my dad and always will.
