The Train Ride

Hermione's P.O.V

I arrived at the train station just before 11 and walked through to gate 9 3/4. I patiently waited for the Weasley's and Harry to arrive a the platform.

Suddenly someone jumped onto me, I turned to see Ginny giving me a massive hug which I returned. We hadn't seen each other all summer because I had stayed with my parents. Then Harry came over and gave me a kiss on the cheek and hugged me. Next Mr and Mrs Weasley came and gave me a hug, and asked how my summer had been. Finally Ron bundled me up and gave me a hug and a passionate kiss.

We climbed into the train and found a compartment. We all talked about our summers and Harry told me that Ginny and him were closer than ever and they loved each other dearly. He also said that he had gotten a new owl called Winter she was a Barn owl, he said she was a good owl and she looked after him but she could never replace Hedwig. Ginny had bought a new broom and she had also bought an owl called Twinkle she was a Snowy owl.

Ron said he had practiced goal keeping over the summer with Harry and Ginny. But his family were still mourning their loss of Fred, George was holding up but he wasn't cracking many jokes these days.

I told everyone about how I gotten my parents memories back and they were doing great. Then I told them about my exciting news. "So everyone, I got a letter from Professor McGonagall asking me to come back this year and then it said that I got Head Girl." They all congradulated me ad Ron kissed me.

-- Later that day --

"Hey Hermione, what would you like for lunch?" asked Ron.

"You don't have to buy me lunch Ron" Hermione said.

"Yeah I know but I haven't been able to do anything for you all summer." He smiled sweetly and then waited for an answer.

"I'll have a pumpkin pasty please" I said. He ordered and then handed me my food, we all ate our food while listening to music from my IPod. After that someone knocked on the door and then entered. As soon as they had walked through Ron's grip tightened on my hand, I looked up and saw Draco Malfoy looking at me. "What do you want Malfoy?" I asked.

He was hesitant with his reply and said "Professor McGonagall wants to see us in her compartment."

"Why would she go anywhere with you ferret?" Ron questioned.

Malfoy looked at him and replied "maybe because I'm Head Boy Weasley." Ron looked stunned and turned to ma and asked me if I knew that he had been Head Boy. I just looked as shocked as Ron had been and shook my head.

Ronald turned back to Malfoy and then said "she can go, but if you hurt her in anyway you'll not hear the end of it."

"Like I would want to hurt Granger" and with that Malfoy strolled out of the compartment and waited at the door. I stood up gave Ron a peck and the grabbed my bags and left for Professor McGonagall's compartment. 

Sorry It took me so long to update the last chapter I had a bucket load of homework to do and didn't have enough time to write. Also anyone that has any ideas for any chapters feel free to message me :) :)  Hedwig9042
