The Common Room

Sorry it took so long to get the next chapter. I've been on holidays and on a holiday. Also may Alan Rickman our Severus Snape rest in peace ♥. Hope you enjoy the chapter : ).

Draco's P.O.V

We slowly entered amazed and transfixed on the gorgeous room in front of us, it was beautiful. I looked over at Hermione and she had the same expression on her face. She finally looked over at me and said "what?"

I hadn't realised I was staring and said "sorry, didn't realise that I was staring."

Hermione looked away and shrugged then said "it's beautiful isn't it?"

Draco then mumbled under his breath "not as beautiful as you though."

"What was that?" she asked Draco.

"Oh, I said it is beautiful." He replied.

"Oh, it certainly is" Hermione said.

The room had navy blue walls and a soft light grey carpet. The house flags were pinned on the back wall. Across from where he was standing was a warm fireplace and the couches and 2 armchairs, with a coffee table that had a vase of beautiful blue and white orchids. Next to the lounge room was a kitchen that was fully stocked with food. They also had a there own Library, Hermione had found her way there and was reading her favourite book Hogwarts: A History.

Draco walked in quietly and said "Hermione I know that you probably would like to read but we should go and check out the rest of our common room."

Hermione sighed and got up. She then started following Draco into the common room. They then walked to the first door leading from the common room. As Draco opened the door he saw green and silver. "I'm guessing that this is your room." Hermione said.

"It seems so" Draco replied.

The room had green and silver wallpaper with the Slytherin crest over the top of his bed. The bed had a black quilt cover with a dark green throw on it. There was also a walk-in closet with Draco clothes in it. He also had a desk, a small bookshelf for his textbooks over the desk. Then there was a window seat that overlooked the Black lake.

Then Hermione noticed the other door to the side of Draco's room. She walked over and opened and gasped as she saw a beautiful bathroom. There was a big shower, a toilet, a beautiful white bath, a twin marble vanity with a mirror that covered most of the wall behind it. There was also another door on the other side which Hermione was guessing led to her room.

Draco came over to see what Hermione was looking at and saw the beautiful white and marble bathroom. He then noticed the other door side and said "we're sharing a bathroom I see."

"Yep" Hermione said popping the 'P'.

They then walked through the other door to Hermione's bedroom and noticed it was a bit different to Draco's. The room was in Gryffindor colours instead of Slytherin. The carpet was a soft beige and the wall's were painted a lovely Gold and Red. Hermione also had a window seat and a walk-in, her thing had also been unpacked and there was also a some extra shelves for her books 'McGonagall must have thought of that' thought Draco. She had a Grey armchair for reading in and a small round table next to it that had some of her favourite books laid out, she also had a vase full of white orchids. Her quilt cover was Red with Gold embroidery. Hermione loved it.
