I think I like Granger!

Draco's P.O.V

Draco had just finished getting ready for school and decided to check on the Gryffindor Princess and see how she was. As he looked into Hermione's room she was still asleep and she looked gorgeous even when she was sleeping. After standing at her door for ten minutes he finally realised that breakfast would be over in half an hour so he quietly walked in.

As he approached her could hear her soft breathing, and smiled. 'She's beautiful when she sleeps, with that little crease in her head.' Draco thought.

He quietly shook her arm to wake her and  after a while her eyes fluttered open and she saw a blurry Draco. As she rubbed her eyes Draco became clearer. He had a smirk on his face, the famous Malfoy smirk, the one that she loved. She smiled up at him, then asked "What are you doing in here Malfoy and why are you smirking at me?"

"I thought that I should wake you up before breakfast so we could walk down together. I don't have too tell you why I was smirking" Draco replied with a smile which was then followed by another cheeky smirk.

"Oh, that's nice of you. But why would you of all people want to walk down with me to breakfast?." she asked.

"Awh, I am offended" he said looking at her with fake offence. "Maybe because I'm a nice person and I want to accompany someone who is beautiful and whom I may like." he said without realising what he had just said.

"So does the Slytherin Prince have a secret?" Asked the princess.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He said. "If you need me I'll be in the common room." he said with a smirk.

He left the Gryffindor Princess as curious as anything and couldn't wait to tell Ginny.

-- At breakfast --

"Yo, Draco" Blaise yelled out.

"oh, hey Blaise" Draco said.

"So, you and Granger have become a lot closer" Blaise said

"So, blood status no longer matters, I just want to forget about the past and look to the future." Draco then replied.

"Woah! Who brought their Sassy pants with them. Draco, I wasn't implying that it was bad that you and Granger had become closer, I was trying to ask if you had feelings for her and is she in your future?." Blaise asked.

"I don't have feelings for Granger." Draco said abruptly.

"Yeah, you do. You look at her like she is the only girl in the world, you stood up for her when Ron was being a jerk, you said that any guy would be lucky to have a girl as beautiful and as smart as her. You may not realise it now, but you have a major crush on her." Blaise said with a smile.

Draco knew that his best friend would never lie to him, plus even though he was in denial he couldn't help the fact that he had really strong feelings for the Gryffindor Princess. Hermione really was the only girl that he had ever liked. He had never liked Pansy the way that she had liked him, she used to be all over him, but now she was cool with just being friends because she knew that he didn't like her. Plus she had Blaise and they were happy together and he was happy that she had found someone that she could love.

'Hermione was everything that he had ever wished for but the question is should I tell her about my feelings' Draco thought. 'But what if she doesn't feel the same. Hang on, have you seen the way she looks at you, you dosh. Dude just be a man and go up to her and tell her how you feel.' He fought with himself for another five minutes, then decided that he had to tell her the right way, but first he had a plan that she would love. Now all he had to do was find Ginny and ask for her help. Suddenly he was snapped out of his thoughts when Blaise said something.

"What?" Draco asked.

"Oh my god. He never listens." Blaise muttered. "Anyway, I said I think you should go for it, and what's this plan your going on about?" Blaise asked.

"What are you a mind reader" said Draco.

"No, you just have a habit of speaking out loud." Blaise said.

"What did you hear?" Draco asked him.

"Everything, now I can say I told you so." Blaise said happily.

"Geez, your like a 2 year old. " Draco said with a hint of sarcasm.

"I'll need your help and Pansy's." He said, then added a "please" and then continued and started telling Blaise about his plan.

-- An hour later --

Ginny had just walked out of the Library when she heard "Ginny, wait up."

She turned around to see Malfoy running towards her. "Oh, hey Draco." She said.

"Ginny, I need your help with something, could you help me?" He asked politely.

"I will help you with whatever it is, but first you have to tell me what I'm helping you with." Ginerva said.

"Okay, but on the way." Draco said. " Also do you know where Harry is?" He asked.

"Yeah he's at the Gryffindor tower. Why?" Ginny asked.

"Well we'll stop there on the way because I need his help too." He said.

Then they walked to the Gryffindor Tower while Draco was telling Ginny her plan. 

 -- At the Gryffindor tower --

"Harry" Ginny called out.

"Coming Gin" He yelled.

"Hey babe" he said as he walked down the stairs.

"Hey, Draco needs our help with something, can you help?" she asked.

"Yeah sure, whatever you need Draco." Harry replied with a smirk.

"Thanks man, I'll tell you what the plan is on the way to my dorm." He told Harry. 

Then asked Ginny "Ginny it's time to find Mione, and can you distract her for a couple of hours." 

"Sure, what time do you want us there?" She the asked.

"Well it's 5 now, so how about 7" He asked.

"Perfect, have fun" Ginny replied, she then walked over to Harry to give him a peck on the lips. Then walked out of the Gryffindor tower.

Draco the turned to Harry and said "So Potter, could you help me make a romantic dinner for Hermione?"

Harry looked up and smiled. He then said "I knew it, I knew you had feelings for Hermione. But just so you know, Hermione is like a sister to me, so if you ever hurt her like Ron did you'll be answering to me. Also, it will not be pretty I can tell you that."

He then smiled and said "So, what are you thinking of mate."

Draco was slightly confused by the sudden change of moods, but then shook it of and said "Don't worry Potter I would never hurt her, I care about her to much to hurt her." He then answered the question and said "Well I was thinking of a candle light dinner in our dorm with some fairy lights and her favourite meal spaghetti bolognese with some wine."

"What do you think" He asked Harry. 

Harry looked at him surprised, then stated "Well aren't you the romantic." Then said "I think she'll love it but I think I can add a twist in that plan that she would love." "Now let's get to work we only have and hour an a half."
