Chapter 2: Am I Being Punked?!

Tohru's POV

I just awoke from last night's dream. It is one of the first time I slept well, even though I am currently living in a tent... In the middle of a forest. I sit up and stretch, while I yawn at the same time.

' I should probably get ready for school. I don't want to be late.'

I get up and dress myself in my school uniform to go to school. As I get out of my tent to check the weather, I see that it is a wonderful day.

'Look at that beautiful sky.' I think to myself.

I go back inside to the tent to bid my mom farewell.

"See you later, Mom. Take care of the house while I'm gone, okay? I'll be back."

I haven't always lived in a tent. Up until last May I lived with my mom. It was just the two of us. But then, the accident happened. After I lost Mom, I began secretly living here in the forest on my own. It's not exactly comfortable, but it's alright. It's what I have to do. Like my motto says, "never give up!"

As I walk on the trail I take to go to school, I see something in the corner of my eye. Out of curiosity I turn around and I see that in front of me are two girls on the floor of the forest, one brunette and the other blonde.

' Look Mom. There are people sleeping in the middle of the floor...'

It takes me a while to realize that there are two girls sleeping on the floor. And when I realize it I begin to panic.

" Ah!! What if they are dead?! What if someone killed them and dragged them here, so that they were never to be found!? No, no, no! Think positive. Maybe there is a possibility that they are still alive!"

I grab a long stick that I found on the floor and I poke the brunnette. After I poke her for a few times I hear a groan. I jump a couple feet.

' They are alive! Maybe they were just sleeping, but why would they be sleeping in the middle of the forest? I'll just ask after I wake them up.' I think to myself.

I walk in between them and start shaking them until they start to wake up. The blonde one seems to be a deep sleeper, but the brunette wakes up after a few seconds. I hear her say something like today being Sunday and that there is no school. To just let her sleep in. I am confused by what she just said.

" But today isn't Sunday... We do have school today." I think to myself out loud.

At hearing this the brunnette sits up as fast as the speed of light and begins looking all around her, as if searching for something. She has bed head, so her hair is sticking out everywhere. It is very funny. I laugh a little, and decide to fix her hair a little. She turns around gives me a weird look. I realize that I was touching a stranger's hair and without asking for permission first.

" I am so sorry! My mom taught me better than to disrespect people's personal space! I really am sorry! I don't know what got in me! I just wanted to fix you hair a little! Ah! I didn't mean it look bad, it just looked funny, but not funny in a bad way! I meant it in a good way! Your hair is beautiful-"

The brunette covers my mouth and making me stop all my babbling. I try to say sorry for talking so much, but it all comes out muffle.

"It's... Okay."

Andy's POV

That's all I say. That it is okay. After all, that is all my mouth could say.

I woke up this morning to a girl who poked me with a stick and then shook me. I said that it was a Sunday and that there was no school. To just let me go back to sleep. I thought it was Destiny trying to wake me up and make me suffer by not letting me sleep longer for her own sadistic entertainment. But then I heard a voice who didn't belong to her. It said that it wasn't Sunday and we do have school today.
