Chapter 1: Accidental Wish

Andy's POV

Today is Halloween. I didn't have anything else to do today and my best friend Dest wanted to go trick-or-treating. She dressed up as an angel and I, of course, dressed up as her opposite, a devil.

While we walked from house to house to get candy, there were some pervs who kept looking at us and started cat-calling at us, as if we were some animals. They said some things that I didn't understand so I asked Dest, she just laughed and said that she won't tell me because my mind is to innocent and clean to be dirtied by those comments. She laughed even more when my face got red from irritation. She knew I hated being treated as a prude child.

I never thought that there would be so many pervs out there... Especially during Halloween, when there are little kids running around.

It was around 7:30 when the sun was completely gone and the sky was pitch black. It wasn't until 8 o'clock that our feet began to ache and we decided to call it a night and go back home.

We went to Dest's house. I remember going to her house for the first time and being awestruck. Her kitchen looked fit for a five-star chef, her living room looked like a place you would find the president sitting in, her bathroom could be considered a porcelain throne, and Dest's bedroom was fit for a princess.

We went upstairs to her room and changed into our pajamas. Her pajamas consist of a pink tank top and same-colored cupcake shorts. My pajamas are the same, but blue. As soon as I finished changing, I automatically jumped on her rose-pink bed and laid there. I call her bed the cotton candy mattress because cotton candy is cloud-like... Just like this bed.

'Dang... Mhmm This is life right here...'

" Andy, guess what?!" Dest shouts in my ear just as soon as my eyes closed ready to enter dreamland.

I growl a bit. "How many times have I told you not to scream in my ear?" I mumble, too tired to speak correctly.

"More times than I can think of."

" And yet you still do it, why?" I say as I open one eye.

Dest laughs, " It's because you look so cute when you get irritated, you're like an angry little elf!"

'Well this conversation isn't going to go anywhere...'

I sigh giving up in hopes that she would take me seriously for once.

" Anyways, what were you going to tell me?"

She looks at me with blank eyes for a second and snapps her fingers.

"Oh right! I completely forgot about that!"

I mentally slap my forehead.

"No, really?"

" I was going to tell you that I bought Fruits Basket on Amazon and it came in this morning~!!"

I immediately get up in a sitting position and wave my hands at her in a gesture meaning for her to hurry.

" What are you waiting for!? Let's watch it right now!!"

Dest nods and takes off, running to God knows where. After a couple minutes, she comes back with the DVDs and slides the disk into the DVD player. As soon as the DVD player stopped loading the main menu pops on the screen. We both look at it with awe. Dest, being the first one to snap out of the trance, and presses play.

While we were watching the anime, we were talking about the zodiac animals.
