Chapter 5 - Expect the Unexpected

Alden's P.O.V

Jogging every night is usually my hobby, and my stress reliever. The last time I jogged was a month ago, since my schedule is hell'a hectic nowadays. I decided to go to Capitol Commons which is a nice place to spend the night, and who knows, maybe I can spot some well-known people too. I went to my room and tucked myself in my jogging pants, and put on my shirt and jacket as well. As I went downstairs, I heard Dad laughed, so as my sister Riza.

"Dad, I'll be back in a few hours." I said as I wore my shoes.

"Where are you going, Kuya Bae?" Riza questioned as she pauses the movie they were watching.

"Need some fresh air. In for some jogging?" I tried to invite Riza but she said a No thanks, Kuya. I'd stay with Papa Bae nalang.

"Ingat ka ha." Dad stated.

By the time I arrived there, I started to jog the whole place and it doesn't bothers me if the breeze is practically cool. It actually makes me chill as in relaxed. I got uncomfortable at first, then later on , my body was boosted with energy as I ate my packed chocolate chip cookies. I felt hyper and that's when I was back in the mood to jog.

"He looks familiar to me..." I heard a girl whispered as I passed by the first bench.

"Oh my god! Isn't he an actor?" One exclaimed. I don't know how they see the resemblances of that actor they were pertaining to me since I wad wearing a hoodie in which my face is one-fourth not visible.

"Alden Richards?" a guy summoned as I stopped jogging and took off my hoodie. Okay, this is freaking me out...

"G-good evening po." Is this really what they call fame?

"AAAHHH!!! ALDEN!"

"BAE ALDEN!"

"PA-PICTURE PO! OMG. I LOVE YOU KUYA TISOY!"

Fans started to scream and 'attack' me. They were all holding their phones. For the past 3 years I've been in showbiz, I never felt the goosebumps going wild as it is, my heart skipping thrice as it beats, and the fans that are very happy and nervous.

"I'm so sorry but I have to go now," I lied and apologized to the fans who were begging for a picture with me.

"Awww, sayang naman. Next time nalang uli Kuya Alden! Ingat po kayo!"
Wow. They're very understanding. So... alangan naman magpabaya ako, so pinagbigyan ko nalang sila. I went to each of them, and thanked them for their supports.

"Hello sir, may I tak---" the cashier stopped, I don't know why, so I just proceeded on answering.

"One Java Chip frappuccino would do." I smiled.

"Ahay," she clears her throat. "Um, sir Alden, is that all?" She smiles shyly, but scary.

"Yeah."

I was gazing around the store wearing my shades that can serve as a protection, maybe. While waiting for my drink, I was distracted by a girl who also wears a hoodie with... wait... why is she with Ms. Dianne!?

"Ms. Dianne!" I shouted. Well, mahihiya pa ba ako e anim lang kami sa loob ng Starbucks.

"Oh, Alden, iho!" She kissed me on my left cheek.

"Um, excuse me lang po. I'm just gonna go to the restroom." the girl excused. Ms. Dianne nodded and so did I. I tried to identify who she was, but her face was hidden well. After a few minutes of chatting, I suddenly felt the sign for me to use the restroom. I excused my self from Ms. Dianne and she asked me a favor to tell "MM" to come back in no time. Though, I was still clueless who is the "MM" she was referring to.

"Ah, yes." I felt a relief after releasing that.

I washed my hands and went outside the comfort room, relaxed...

"HOLY MOTHER OF ASPARAGUS" the girl shrieked.

Oh wait....

Maine's P.O.V

I went out with Ms. Dianne, just for some "chill" hangout. I was radiant and my body was begging for relaxation and rest. I wore my black shorts, a black shirt and a gray hoodie. Medyo nagmukhang may pupuntahan kaming lamay dahil sa suot ko. We went to Capitol Commons and entered Starbucks.

"Ahhhh. At last... the scent of power!" I whispered as the aroma of coffee filled my nostrils.

"Have a seat. I'll be ordering." Ms. Dianne said and walked to the counter.

"Hi Yaya Dub! May I have a picture please?" the girl pleaded.

"Oh yeah sure." I went by her side and we took a selfie on her phone.

"Thank you po! Sana magkatuluyan kayo ni Bae Alden! Hihi" she smirked while I laughed.

I was waiting for Ms. Dianne, who is waiting for our drinks and beverages. I checked my phone and found some sweet messages from AlDub fans. Ms. Dianne sat down and handed me my coffee and I slurped a little. We both got surprised when we saw the crowd covering and screaming over.. probably.. an artist? I don't know.

"Bet ko, si Alden yan. Promise." Ms. Dianne joked.

"I'd treat you at Peri-Peri if you guessed it right..." I replied.

"Ms. Dianne!" a guy somewhat shouted. I looked away from my phone and glanced at the guy. Oh dear... I quickly hid my face by wearing my hoodie.

"Oh, Alden, iho!" they made beso-beso. They chatted about Kalyeserye and I couldn't stop taking a glimpse of Alden. Oh Lord! Why him! I blushed.

I excused myself and went to the comfort room and stayed there for like 5 minutes, being crazy as ever.

"MAINE. CONTROOOL. BABAENG FILIPINA KA, MAINE!" I complained to myself. O diba, crazy na nga talaga ako. I opened the door, ready to step out of the restroom and...

"HOLY MOTHER OF ASPARAGUS" I gasped as I stepped out of the CR and saw....
