Chapter 7 - The Letter

Maine's POV

11:00 am? Is that the time? I know I have a schedule today. And brace yourselves folks, today is a Sunday. What an unlucky fate. I checked on my phone which is currently charging 78%. Is this the fastest way you can charge yourself? I looked on my phone. Ever since I met Alden, accidentally, the people have been bombing my Twitter account lately. I opened my phone, still charged, ugh. I don't know why my face smiled only to see a few missed calls from an unknown number. I can't assume it's him. But hey? What if it's Alden? Haha. Die Maine you great prune. Stop assuming. I decided to call the unknown guy.

"Hello?" I said, with a smile on my face.

"Hi." A guy just answered. Who are you.

"I'm sorry I haven't answered your calls before. I was busy." Oops, sorry I lied. I was just eating Nachos and watching A Walk To Remember. I tried to be pabebe as possible since the guy's voice sounded like Alden's.

"Oh. About that. I'm so sorry Ms. Maine---" Wait, what?! Ms. Maine? Okay, who is this guy.

"Um, who are you?" I seriously asked.

"Sam Gogna." I can hear him chuckle.

"Sam, sino yan?" Another voice from the other line was heard. Okay, now who is that? I smirked.

"So you're not --- Oh, Sam. Hi Sam!!!" I gladly greeted though I was not impressed with his plan. I know this is a plan. Nice try Sam.

"Hmm. You were expecting him ano? How about let's go on a triple date?" Teka, what? Triple date?

"No need, Sam. Gagawin niyo pa akong third-wheeler ni Alden. Huhu." I joked. "Kabog niyo po ang sweetness ng AlDub eh. AlAm (A/N: Alden + Sam; hahahaha) is better." I teased him. But, I sensed that something is strange. Am I on loudspeak? There seems to be another voice from the line that talks with Sam. I don't know who.

"No. I swear. Triple Date tayo this Friday. 5-6 pm sharp. Okay?" He spoke as fast as he can. 5-6? Baka Indianin ako neto ah. Ganern!

"Okay fine. Say hi to Alden for me. Thanks Sam." And before I ended the call, another mysterious guy spoke.

"Hi Maine. Bye." I definitely knew it wasn't Sam. Why would he say HI again when he already greeted me before? Lol. Maybe just his manager.

Now here starts a new day, new air, new aura, new look, and of course... new calls. ANO?! New calls? I directly answered my phone and greeted my manager, Oreo. "Hi Oreo! How are you Ateng?" I greeted. She scolded at me by the time she replied back, saying we just saw each other yesterday and howcome I am asking how is she. "Aber, bakit? Masama bang maging concerned?" I drank my last shot of milk and quickly raised my eyebrow as I answered her.

"Hay nako. Forget it. Anyway, we have a meeting." what meeting? Uggghh. "Sa broadway. Alam kong kikiligin ka since it's a meeting for AlDub."

"Whatever." I joked. "Joke Mama Oreo! Sige, I'll be there by 10am sharp." I ended the call and syempre, I wore the best clothes I have. So I decided to take a nap first, before the Kalyeserye segment.

"Alam kong kikiligin ka since it's a meeting for AlDub." Ano kaya yun? Wow ah. I'm nervous ha.

Alden's POV

I went to the backstage after ATM with the Baes. I got tired fast, and so I laid on the couch, while Ryzza, and Baste are playing with their toys. Cute. Sam went in the room, and God, sana naman di ako bwisitin neto.
