"Paps!" Sam yelled and I turned my head just to see him closing his car's door, carrying lots of. . . Shopping bags?
"Una, why? Second, what the heck are those?" I pointed at those freaking bags. Hindi ba creepy?
"Ah, these? These are for. . ."
"For whom you idiot?"
"Patring." Wow. Even them? First is Jerald and Valeen, then Sam and Patricia? Aba! Kami nalang pala ni Maine ang kulang! "And! Kamusta nga pala ang. . . Date?" He bit his lips and that's when it occurred to me. Yeah yeah, the flashbacks and so. . .
"Teka lang, don't hang up! I'm talking to you pa eh!" She exclaimed and I frowned with the loudness of her voice teasing my ear.
"Will you stop talking about my totoy days?! It's embarrassing as hell!!!" Tunay naman. I was actually surprised when she began telling about my childhood, sending me old pics through DMs and hell! What a stalker!
"What's embarrassing? They're cute!" I groaned in annoyance pero mukhang hyper yung kausap ko. It's already 2 in the morning and here I am, waiting for a miracle.
"Not to mention, but thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it." I said as I let out a sigh.
"I'm just being realistic. Cute ka naman talaga eh." There she goes.
"What?" I tried to suspect things, and I guess those words she said came out of nowhere. And without a hint, she ended the call and I wasn't able to contain myself but to laugh.
To: Maine
Looks like may nadulas.... Goodnight! ;)"Paps? Paps? Papi!" Sam yelled again.
"Oh ano na nangyari?" Ano ba yan. Ang ganda-ganda ng flashback ko biglang e-epal tong si Sam.
"Anong ano nangyari?! You were freaking smiling on your own while I told you that I saw a ghost kanina! What's so funny about that?!"
"Looks like yan ang effect pag-inlove. Tell me about it." He added and grinned widely at me. Kadiri naman itong si Sam.
"Private. Now get the hell out of my house and buy some food for our lunch." I pushed him outside and once he was about to speak a word, I snapped the door and went to my room, buried my face in my pillow.
It's already the 2nd week of our vacation and yet, I still haven't find a solution for my relaxation. I restlessly laid myself into my original laying position, and played with the sheets of my bed. As I intertwined my thumb and my fore finger onto the thick material of the mattress, I couldn't help but to stare at the clock, watching its hands run to each other.
