"Uy, Meng!" Alden greeted Maine from afar. He doesn't want to bring up her silly acts and. . . the kiss, so he just shut his mouth. Maine looked from afar, "Hello." He did give her a buss, but it didn't matter to her anymore. She's gotten used to his kisses on her cheek, only to know that she isn't the only one who receives them.

Possessive mo naman, Meng. Kala mo kayo, e ni mutual understanding nga waley. She thought.

He noticed how tame she is so he gave her a smile and asked what's wrong. She'd say nothing, but Alden is not stupid enough. He knows how a girl acts when something's wrong, and it seems like Maine is. "Stop it, Den. I'm just tired." Sure they've been friends for a month now and nothing far, but the way she spits the words at him drops venom. He wants to know what's bugging her, but like he always did about the kiss, he just kept his mouth shut.

They both agreed the night before to meet at a cafe at noon, and Alden can tell the difference with the way she talks during that night and the way she talks now. "May nagawa ba ako?" He asked her as she sips her coffee.

Maine shook her head and gave him a stare, "I'm fine, RJ" and that hit Alden. It is the first time she calls him "RJ" in personal, (she only calls him that when at phone), and it made the hair on his back rose. "Meng, andito lang ako kung kailangan mo ng kausap." He gave her a weak smile and so did she too.

I don't really think so dahil tungkol sa'yo kung bakit. And a lot of things. Maine gave him an assuring look that there's nothing to worry about, even though there is.

Alden didn't want to waste their day talking about problems, so he opened a topic about Italy. He said that it is a romantic place to go to, and the people are very approachable. Maine could only give him a torn smile. He did try his best. He opened another one in which includes ice cream and girls stuff. Keep on making me smile, RJ. But I won't.

The whole time Alden started talking about his 5th topic, Maine just completely stared at her coffee, alongside a fork on her right hand, whirling it on her emptied plate. The real reason why Maine is uncomfortable is about the articles involving Alden. All about dating rumors, dating rumors, and dating rumors. What's worse is that those rumors include pictures, oh, and hell. They are legit. Once, she read an article about him spotted dating with Julie Ann. There were proofs to justify it was legit. Julie Ann was clinging onto him and another picture where Alden laughs enormously with a finger pointed to Julie Ann who wore an annoyed face.

Second, about Mark. A part of her still loves him, yet a part of her says he's an asshole, iniwan ka nga e. Nakabuntis. So shut up ka na lang, Meng.
