Chapter 1

Alison's p.o.v.

I return back to school tomorrow, but this time, I'm in high school. I was so excited for tomorrow that I texted my friends. When they replied they weren't  that ecstatic from their reaction.

Since I was so bored , I decided to prep my stuff that I needed for the next day. I called Ava and asked her if she was ready.

*Phone Call (Al: for Alison & Aa:Ava)

Al: hey Av, guess what!? There's school tomorrow!!
Aa:I don't want to go,take me back to the beginning of summer!!
Al: stop over exaggerating, we're going to be freshmen.
Aa: I don't care
Al: did you go to the orientation Thursday?
Aa:no, how about you!?
Al: no, I've been to Jefferson high a couple of times; I should know where things are!
Aa: well, there are some areas where you might of not been to so...
Al: maybe, but still, I know where I might be going anyways.
Aa: so...you and Matty huh?
Al: what are you talking about?
Aa: don't act like I don't know!
Al: I don't
Aa:really, (her mom yells) I gtg!
Al: wait...
Aa:bye
*hangs phone*
Al: bye.....

I wonder what Ava meant by Matty and I?!? What's going on between us two? Matty aka Mathew McCibin is my best friend; he's light complected, black thick combover hair, tall, dark brown eyes, and a huge nerd!
His personality is, sweet, humorous, kind in some ways others know him of, smart, weird, etc... I could go on describing Matty, but there's nothing happening between the both of us, I mean he is my best friend. We met in middle school, on the first day of our first period.

What could possibly be on Ava's mind? I set it aside, for tomorrow.
I went to bed early because I had to wake up at 5 due to school starting at 6:45 am.

*hrs passed by*

It's 4 o'clock in the morning, and I have those jittery feelings. All I could think of, was how nervous I am; bigger school, more people, new teachers. I say that is too much for me to handle.

As soon as I got to Jefferson, I quickly looked for my friends! I saw Ava, Tara,Susan,Isabelle, and Cj. Then I say Matty,Robin,Alex, and Jolene, right beside them. I walked up and had a quick glance and smile to Matty. I started talking...

The conversation:
Al: hey guys, I've missed you all!
Everyone: hey, we've missed you too!!
Al: we're finally in high school, isn't it exciting?!
Jo: meep!!!!
Rob: yes, I'm prepared for some learning!
Tara,Susan,Isabelle,Cj,& Ava:no
Alex: (smiles) yes
Al: how about you Matty?
Matty: no

*everyone squeals*

Matty and I looked at them weirdly. The bell rings for class, Matty and I walked to class together. All I could hear behind us is, ship,ship.... At that point i don't know what they meant, other than the fact I kind of liked him back in middle school!

Well for now I just got to go to class...
