I Let Her Go...

Chapter 2

Matty and I went to class, and noticed that the people we had were really quiet or just plain old shy. The teacher made us choose our seating for now,but the happy thing about it, is that I'm sitting behind him. We chatted for a bit, then the teacher started to speak.

Announcement:
Teacher: Good morning,I am your new freshman seminar teacher. Now, stand in the back and I'll assign you your seats.
Everyone: Awe..
Teacher: I'm going to seat you in alphabetical order.

*the teacher starts to assign the seating arrangement*

Teacher: Mr. Aguon you will be sitting in the front row, Mr. Borja you're seated behind him.

The teacher continued to assign and I was scared. Who else will have an M for the last name? As the teacher called Matty, I felt the crazy sweats seeping out of my hands. I look down to my feet and I heard my name after his. I looked up and smiled. It was pretty odd how Matty was the only M and there were no N's or O's. I didn't make no fuss, due to me having the seat I wanted.

*time passes*

We did whatever we wanted to do; it was only our first day! Matty and I walked out of class together and noticed that our classes weren't the same. He had geometry and I had health, but we weren't that far from each other. We rushed to class and said "see you later". I couldn't help but think that I have none of my friends with me. I walked in my class upstairs and took a seat. I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder, I turned around and saw an old friend.

I was shocked, yet glad, I had someone that I know in my class. We chatted, sat together and did our assignments together. The time was going so fast that I didn't notice. I missed having Matty around.

*bell rings*

I walked out of class laughing with my old friend and as I looked forward, I saw Matty standing, looking at his feet. He was waiting for me. He glanced at me and smiled. I couldn't help but think why he was there waiting for me?! I approached him and said "hey". We walked down the stairs and went to lunch. I noticed how close we were and that our hands could almost touch. I felt this weird strange feeling and I didn't know what it could possibly be. My hands starts to sweat again, then he mentioned something like: "I got removed from geometry!" I looked surprised and asked why? Matty looked confused, as for me, I still felt weird and shocked.

We approached our friends; they were giving us weird looks. Our friends Robin and Jolene mostly gave us grins. Ever since middle school our supposedly ship name has been on for quite a while. It's MALISONE! I ignored what they said about us being together, but now I think I'm starting to see the big picture. Nervous sweats, feeling weird around him, always blushing when he says something cute; oh my, I like Matty!!!
