Chapter 5

But before I knew it shots were being fired and it was all happening so fast I got dizzy a little and I felt something go into my stomach. I fell to the floor and blacked out.

Rakir POV

When the shooting stopped me and a few other people got up and looked around confused. I looked down and saw my baby Jai on the floor bleeding and shit. I picked her up and put her in the car and rushed to the hospital. I ran every red light. Fuck that. When I walked into the hospital the nurses instantly ran over to me as they brought out the stretcher. I watched as they took her to the ER. I sat down looking at my phone. I didn't know whether I should call Jai's mom because she doesn't answer the phone a lot whenever we call. Before I knew it, Lia, Cory, Day Day, and Jammy came busting through the door.

"Where Jai she okay?!" Lia said panicking.
"She i-i-in the ER." I said nervously.
"Oh my god.. what happened." Lia said pacing back and forth on the verge of crying.
"We was at Jammy party and next thing you know somebody just started shooting and she ended up getting shot." I said letting a tear fall. Lia looked over at Jammy and it almost looked like she wanted to punch her in her crusty ahh lip.
"You know what I ain't gon' say none.. Just.. let me calm down." Lia said sitting down with Cory comforting her.

Jammy POV

Hey yall I'm Jasmyne aka Jammy, Jazzy, Jaz, or Jam anything you want. I've known Jai since the 6th grade. And now I'm hoping and praying that she will make it. Jai's very strong and so is Lia. I've cried for the past 2 hours waiting for the doctor to come out.

Day Day POV

Wassuh yall. I'm Day Day. I knew Jai since I was in 8th grade and she was in the 7th. I know I know you bet I was fine as hell in the 8th grade well hell yeah and I still am just ask Jai or Lia. They be wanting to fuck me 'til my dick fall off.
Anyways, I came up here with Lia and Cory 'cause some girl name Jammy called and told us that Jai was in the hospital. We've been waiting here for 2 and a half hours and I'm tired as fuck but I'm hoping the best for my bitch Jai.

Jai POV

I can't see shit I'm scared, cold, and all I want is my baby Rakir. I look up to see a light. I walk over to it and all I see is myself sleeping.. some like that. I also see Rakir sitting in the waiting room with Lia, Cory, Day Day, and Jammy. I was snapped out of my thoughts by a loud beeping which meant I was dead. I started to feel a warm wet stream falling down my cheeks. I turned and saw nurses and doctors rushing into the room. It was the most horrifying image I've ever seen.

Cory POV

I saw nurses and doctors rushing to a room. I soon realized that Jai didn't make it. After about 57 minutes later, a doctor came out.

'Family of Jaila Jones'
We all stood up and he slowly said..
"I'm sorry..but she didn't make it." He said as he could hardly get his words out. Lia broke down crying and Rakir got up fuming and walked out and drove off. Jammy sat down and cried.

Rakir POV

I got in my car after hearing what the doctor said and I speeded down the road. I went home and went inside the house. I went upstairs and laid on the bed and let it all out like a bitch. That shit hurt like a muthafucka hearing that. I cried all night 'til I cried myself to sleep.

* Next Day *

I woke up the next day hoping it was a dream and it was. Damn so that grinding on my dick part was a dream. I looked over and seen that Jai was in the bed naked with the covers wrapped around her. I had a major headache and realized I was crying a little in my sleep. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face. I looked in the mirror and thought about my dream. I turned to walk out the door and saw Jai standing there with her hand on her head with her eyes clothes scaring the shit out of me.

"Goodmorning baby." She said in her sexy sleepy voice.
"Goodmorning.. what's wrong?" I said wrapping my arms around her waist.
"I had a certain dream.. I was so scared." She said digging her face in my chest.
"What was it about?" I asked. She didn't answer.
"Baby.." I looked down and seen she was halfway sleep. I picked her up and carried her to the bed. She started kissing on me but I brushed it off, it's probably still a little alcohol in her system.

"Gimme my phone." She whined. I grabbed her phone off her nightstand and handed it to her. She unlocked it then got up and ran to the bathroom as I heard her throwing up.

"Bae you aight?" I asked her from in the room.
"Yeah.." She replied.

Jai POV

I felt so dizzy and lightheaded and next thing you know I'm throwing up and shit.
I grabbed a pregnancy test from out of the cabinet that I had long ago. I read the instructions and followed. After about 5 minutes I looked down and it read positive. I took like 3 more and they all read positive. How can I be pregnant and we used protection? I'm so scared then I have to tell Rakir.

I walked out the bathroom to find Rakir on my phone. I jumped on his back and play fought him for my phone. I slapped him and he pouted and smacked my ass. SHIT HURT LIKE A MUTHAFUCKA!! I calmed down and I asked for it back and he gave me a kiss and gave it back.

"Baby.." I said getting a little nervous.
"Huuh." He said laying on my tummy.

"Um... there's something I have to tell you." I said rubbing his hair. He looked up at me with his light brown eyes.

"Wassup." He said.
"Im... I'm pregnant." I said looking away.
"How you pregnant and we used protection?!" He yelled getting up.
"I don't know I guess it came off or maybe when we had sex in the shower that day.." I said as my eyes started to water. He came over and kissed me then laid my head on his chest.

"It's aight, I got you baby." Rakir said.
"I love you."
"I love you too." He replied.
