Chapter 11

Lia POV

I woke up in the waiting room chair. I felt someone holding me and I realized I woke up in Cory's lap while laying on his chest.

"Lia.." he said.

"Hmm.." I groaned softly.

"Wake up." He said whispering in my ear.

I woke up and looked into his eyes. My eyes started to water after remembering what happened.

"Lia.. don't cry." Cory said rubbing my back.

"It's just that it all happened so fast and Rakir was in so much pain it looked like he wasn't going to make it and Jai was almost killed and she's had a miscarriage or an abortion because someone drugged her so that her baby would die." I explained to him.

"Calm dow-... abortion?! Jai was pregnant?" Cory asked.

"Yeah I said the same thing... she was scared to tell us because she thought we wouldn't accept it." I said.

"She know we love her she can tell us anything." Cory said smiling.

"Yeah but at the same time Rakir said she's been acting funny as if she were hiding something... like it wasn't his."

"You know what.. I've seen her and Tonio together one day but he was trying to touch on her and I guess get her to come back to him but she kept saying no then I guess they went back to his house and he seduced her." Cory explained.

"Oh my god.... Imma kill him." I said getting up. Before I knew it Cory pulled me back down on his lap.

"Sit yo ass down." Cory said laughing and kissing my lips gently.

Jai POV

I woke up and started crying, remembering everything that happened ealier. I unhooked myself from the machine and got up to walk our the room. I walked down the hallway 3 doors down on the right and saw Rakir in there sleeping. I quietly opened the door and walked over to his side. I gently rubbed his cheek and he slowly opened his eyes. He looked at me and I looked back into his eyes. I saw guilt and fear.

"Why.. why did you do it?" I asked him.

"I-I-I'm just protecting what's mine.." he stuttered in his raspy voice.

"You didn't have to do it I already told you nothing will take me away from you.." I said while crying.

"I know.. I just had a feeling something would.."

"What did you do?" I asked getting into the bed without trying to hurt him.

"I don't remember.. all I remember was speeding down the road and pulling up to that bitch house that tried to kill you and after about 30 minutes I got into my car and about a mile later a car came speeding up behind me and I just went flying off the road." He explained. I started to cry even harder. "You're lucky.. you could've died." I told him as he wiped my tears.

"I know I'm sorry baby." He said kissing my lips. We talked for a bit then we fell asleep.
