Cassandra's POV :

Time passed by, days slipped away slowly just like the hope I had to be saved. Resignation is all I felt because I couldn't take it anymore. As much as I want to fight it, I end up lowering my hands and let it be. I decided that time will decide for me, after all, time has always decided for me. It doesn't matter to me anymore if it's going to decide wrong for me, all I wanted is to forget about all this, I don't want to think about it, it doesn't worth it. Im not worth it ...

Salty water started to make its way through my cheeks. Just now, here, at this present moment, I realized how lonely I am. And without warning, tears started streaming from my eyes, just when Dan entered the room.

Dan's POV:

I heard her sobbing and decided to check on her. There she was, laying on the bed, crying out all the pain she must be feeling now.
Somehow my heart ached for her, she doesn't deserve this. I heard what she's been through, I heard that her mother left her when she was just a child. I know how it feels when you discover that all of a sudden, one of your parents decides to leave you.

I took a step closer to her and with my thumb, I made sure to wipe away a teardrop. She rose her head, maybe trying to understand what I did now. I, myself don't understand why I just did that.

" Dan "

The boss's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. As I was about to reach the door, I took one last glance at her and knew that my decision was taken.

" Yes? " I replied
"Is she awake? "
"No, I just injected her" I lied to him
"Good, when she's awake. Let me know, it's time to talk things out with her"
"I don't think she's the one "
" Trust me, she is"
"Nothing has happened, and it's being three days now "
" Dan, she's special. Didn't you recognize that ? " He said smiling, one of those mischievous smile.

I guess he's right, this girl wasn't anybody. From the day I started stalking her, I knew that she had something special, something that no one has.

I decided to go back and check on her and maybe start what I planned minutes ago.

I locked the door so that no one would interrupt us and turned to look at her.

" What the hell !"

The girl was nowhere to be in the room. I just left her a few seconds, how comes she disappeared in the blink on an eye? The room was empty like it was few days ago before the girl was brought here.

I took a step forward to the bed and there, I felt a breath. Someone was breathing and I guess I know who's. I wasn't really surprised, Adam aka the boss was right, she's the one. I cleared my throat and decided to start a conversation, I needed to know more about her before I can start my plan.

" Are you asleep? "

She layed there silent and I thought she was really sleeping when she decided to speak.

"No"

And slowly, she started to appear. This girl had the power to be invisible but she seems to not care.

"How did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Don't play it innocent, disappearing and appearing, how do you do that?"
"I don't really see what you're trying to say "

And there, she started disappearing again. I stared at her while her body was slowly becoming out of sight.

"You disappeared now"
"What are you talking about?"

And she reappeared again as quick as possible.

"Are you sure you don't know?"
"Yeah "

I decided to take off her blindfold even though she's not supposed to see my face.

Cassandra's POV:

I felt his hand setting my eyes free, and slowly the vision cleared. The light was too much for me to handle but I really wanted to see the one who kept me here for all these days, unfortunately he didn't grant me that chance.

"Don't look at me, you're not supposed to see my face. Now wait and see "

We had to wait for about five minutes before he ordered me to look at my hands.

*

Disbelief washed over me, I was staring at myself disappearing slowly.

" See? " he interrupted me

I failed to say a word. I don't know what was happening, this whatever it was never occurred before in my whole lifetime.

"I, I don't, what's happening?"

I looked up at him and suddenly everything surrounding me seemed to stop. I felt like the world has stopped from turning. I felt like drowning in his chocolate eyes, I couldn't take my eyes away from them. I know it was weird just staring at him like that but there is this gravity that I felt the moment I rose my head to find myself caught in his eyes. He seemed to be drowning in mine too as he didn't move. We kept looking at each other like nothing else mattered.
The sound of our heart's beating echoed in the room, it was like a melody, two hearts beating in the same rhythm. Something was happening and I really didn't know what was it.

Extern POV:

Cassandra was laying in her bed when another person came in sight, the same person that sat beside Louis a day ago. She was happy that she finally found her dearest Cass.

She took a step forward to admire her lovely Cass. A tear made its way in her cheeks, she felt guilty because somehow this was her fault.

She took Cassandra's hand and her mouth started to form these words

" EVANESCO"

She wanted to stay for long but it was time for her to go back to where she came from before anyone would notice that she left. She glanced at her girl.

"This will do" she thought.

Just as the person took her leave, Dan entered the room but when he turned to Cassandra's bed, his mouth hang open as Cassandra was nowhere to be in the room. And at that moment, he knew that this girl was a special one, the girl that Adam looked for long time ago. Being used to this phenomenon, he took a step forward to the bed and knew that the girl was still there in the room because no one can escape that place, absolutely no one.

The spell that the person casted on Cassandra didn't seem to last and Cassandra started to appear again.

Deciding to know more about her, Dan decided to know how she was doing the disappearing thing. But since Cassandra had no idea, he had to sighted her ordering her not to look at him.

Cassandra started to disappear but this time, she was witnessing it. Disbelief is all what she felt as her mind couldn't tell what was happening.

"So" Dan said trying to get answers.

"I, I don't, what's happening?"

Cassandra rose her head and it took only one second for her eyes to get locked in Dan's eyes. Everything stopped from functioning, the nature fell in a complete silence witnessing the unite of two souls. Every creature was waiting for this moment, the moment when two eyes will get caught in each other. This eye contact wasn't nothing, it was something,  because what Cassandra ignored is who sat beside her and was as well mesmerised by her eyes was her soul sister. Two souls who were separated for decades and now reunited again...
