Ch.3 Saph is a undercover spy

Saph is an undercover spy

 

"Hey Saaappphh?" I asked her as she was sitting on our picnic blanket while I was standing there awkwardly with Nathan.

"Yes Ammmmmeeeyyy?" She said drawing out my name like I had drawn out hers

"You know...I was wondering....Why are you constantly following me and Nathan?" I asked rolling my eyes.

"Oh, cause I was assigned by secret agents to follow you all around" she replied nonchalantly

"Really?" Nathan asked

"Nope" Saph replied popping the P and we all started laughing

We decided that Saph should stay because we didn't want to mess up her "mission" of spying on us, and the picnic was fun, we all tried to control air so we could be ahead for school, and of course.....we all failed miserably. All three of us stayed out until it was getting ready to get dark. As we were walking home Saph made a gun out of her hands and started humming a random theme song and started doing rolls on the ground.

"Okay Saph, I think we got it...your a terrible spy" I said holding back laughter and tried to keep a straight face, but when Saph stood up and pouted I couldn't help it I just bust out laughing and she joined in. Nathan just looked at us like we were crazy.

"Come on Nathan that was funny!" Saph said between laughs

"Ha...Ha" Nathan said sarcastically

"Someone hasn't had their nap today" I replied with a smirk

"No, It's more like someone hasn't had their Amey hugs today..." He said faking a pout

"Oh I get it..." I said "Saph come here! you need your Amey hug for the day!" I smirked back at back at Nathan he tried not to laugh but I could tell he wanted to.

"I was just kidding jeeze."

"Aw you mean I don't get Amey hugs?" Saph replied faking a frown.

"Nope no Amey hugs for you" Nathan said and pulled me into a hug "but I get Amey hugs right?"

"Hmm.....yep" I said smiled and hugged him back

By this time we reached our house and Saph and I said good bye to Nathan. I gave him a goodnight kiss, on the cheek of course, and he walked home. I ate dinner. The rest of the night was the same old same old. I headed to bed after I was tired and to my surprise there was an envelope on my bed.

It could be dangerous. I told myself, but...it could be harmless....even from Nathan maybe?

Boy was  I wrong....

Not Dearest Amey,

You have until the holidays to break up with Nathan, or we will kill not only you, but you, your sister, your friends, and Nathan. Your choice. Oh, and tell anyone, and we will know.

I automatically knew who "J" was.....Jacobb...

How....I couldnt let Nathan go, ever. I had never told him but...I think I love him...I could never see him get hurt though. If I break up with him though, that will hurt him. Should I just tell him?

I sighed I cant deal with all this. At least I have till the holidays right?

I layed down and fell asleep, and tonight....not even my enchanted bed could keep the nightmares away.

Nathan's POV

It's been awhile since I left Amey at here house, long enough that she would have gone to bed by now..She always says goodnight though...always...I wonder if somethings wrong? I'll make sure I ask her tomorrow. I told myself as I fell asleep, I could tell something was wrong though, very wrong.

 Amey's POV

I woke up the next morning and felt exhausted. I had never had that many nightmares in one night, and why would Jacobb want me and Nathan split?

I got up and got dressed after a long time of sitting in my bed wondering about if I should tell Nathan, I decided I would tell him, but telepathically, so They couldn't know.

I went out side after I was done getting ready and sat on a bench in our backyard garden. I just stared up at the sky, it was cloudy. Probably because of my mood, and I wasn't going to change it., it fit perfectly. I sat there for who knows how long, looking for non-existent shapes in the lumps of gray clouds. Someone came and sat next to me, I jumped and looked at who it was. Luckily it was Nathan.

"Awfully jumpy arent you?" he asked "Something wrong? You want to talk about it?"

I sighed Nathan always knew when something was wrong, I don't know how he did it since he couldn't read my thoughts.

"Yes. Something is wrong, but I cant tell you what it is"

{I cant tell you out loud}

"Oh I see you cant tell me, Okay then" He said

<So, what is it?>

"I'm sorry Nathan I would tell you but I cant"

{We're being watched.}

"Whatever Amey, I thought  we told each other everything"

<Jacobb, isnt it? So tell me whats wrong.>

"Yes. I know Nathan! But this is different"

{He...There was a letter on my bed, I have to break up with you by the holidays, or they'll....they wont just come after me, They'll come after all of you, Saph, you, Maddie, and my parents.}

"Look Amey, I get it. Whatever..I guess you cant trust me"

<So, Fake fight for the audience then?>

"No! Nathan! I just...you have to understand!"

{Lets do this, just remember its ALL fake.}

"No Amey you understand!"

<Of course>

"Look Nathan please, You have to-"

"No Amey! I get it I'll just leave" We were yelling now, taking our acting skill to their limits

"Fine then! Go!"

"I will!"

"Then, GET OUT!" I sent water at him blasting him out of the garden, but making sure he landed safely on the ground.

<Nice touch there at the end>

{Thank you, I'm adding a few tears for effect, I kinda hope they were watching that was a good show.}

<We should really go into acting,>

I just mentally laughed at that and went up to my room to be "sad" about our fight
