Tears Stole The Heart

Chapter 3- Heartbroken

There were a heaping gang of twelve people standing outside Piper's house, none of them looked friendly, nor any of them looked as if they were those people who came to your house to give you a lucky draw or something.
They charged down the door, obviously, they kicked flowerpots outside of Piper's house, and I watched as the violets that Piper grew getting stamped on and abused.
They smashed eggs, empty beer bottles, and rotten vegetables at Pipers house, specifically aiming at the nicest and cleanest window of the house, Piper's room's window. Like what the hell man did your mom not teach you that the kitchen is the place you cook in? And by the way if your making an omelette your doing it completely wrongly, it needs more seasonings and less rotten vegetables.

If you know Piper, you will know the inside and outside of the house is no more than a dumpster. The cleanest and tidiest place is Piper's room, which is basically a store room next to her house.
And no don't worry this isn't a Harry Potter story, the store is actually quite big.
Jason was shaking as he stammered:" We.... We..."
For once in my life, I was more calm than Jason, I grabbed his arm and ran upstairs. As I was running along the hallway that led to my room, my dad, on the other hand grabbed me by the shoulder and said:"Take the window down and don't get caught. I'll go out to distract them a bit. Don't let Piper get caught."
I rushed for the window we took just now when we came in, and I told Jason to get Piper a cap on the way of rushing out. Jason took Piper by the hand and surprisingly he managed to get my jacket and cap for Piper. I told them to stay there as I went down the window to see the situation. I stopped at about halfway down until I realized they were about twenty centimeters below me, at the back of the house, kicking and punching everything they saw.
I mean like seriously mate, did you just come out of a cinema or what. I usually kick and punch stuff after I watch a movie. You see I get easily influenced after I watch movies, and after watching kung fu panda two, I spent my weekends treating my misplaced bone.
I was already halfway down, you can't expect me to go down and fight those bastards. And I cant stay up here, what explanation could you give them? "Oh erm I was just, you know, seeing the beautiful view as I am draped in cold sweat watching you all kicking and destroying everything you see, twenty centimeters above you and no there's nothing to be suspicious about because I look this constipated all the time."
To be honest that constipated part is sadly true, but seriously.
I only had one idea in mind, stay there.
So I remained in my constipated position until they decided to rampage the inside of the house again.
Usually when one house doesn't pay their debt, their neighbors are in charge of telling the landlords where they went or when was the last time they saw them.
My house, I guess some of them decided to find Piper at my house, because Piper and Jason were already climbing down before I could give them the signal, and my dad was popping his head out of the window as he ushered us to hurry.
We got down quickly and Piper tied up her hair and tucked in under her cap as we were running.
Jason handed her the jacket as she took off her shoes. Me and Jason had to run in a position where Piper can't be seen, squashed in between both of us.
And after that we got onto the nearest bus and finally had time to breathe.
Piper let out a sigh of relieve, despite her bleeding feet and messed up hair.
"Can you still walk Pipes?" Jason asked anxiously as she revealed her sore feet.
"I'm fine, let's just go with the original plan and I'll be fine." Piper assured him
"I think we are going to have to sleep in the basement today." I suggested since Piper's safety was at stake.
"Omfg Bryan do you know that your basement are fucking goals? Its straight out of a tumblr picture." Piper said filled with energy.
"Its good that you think that way cause you may stay there for quite sometime." I said with a heavy tone.
"Its okay as long as I have pizza and a comfy bed you will never see me again." Piper joked.
We arrived at pizza hut later than Jin Wei and Daniel they rushed to the bathroom as soon as they saw Pipers bleeding feet. You know girls, they are prepared for everything. Jin Wei is kind of an expert in this type of emergency treatment and hand bandages and medication are pretty much necessities. Piper handed Jason her cell and purse before she went with Jin Wei.
Me, Daniel and Jason sat down first as we discussed about the menu.
"Another house moving in?" Daniel asked.
"I think so, or else since when did these landlords had been more desperate to get them out?" I answered him while looking at my menu.
"I still don't get why the hell they chose to use Piper as a threat, can't they just get her mom?" Jason said with agony.
"You know the kids of these types of parents are always the victims." Daniel sighed.
"Her dad doesn't love Piper, nor does he love her mom, why choose her instead of that woman who has no blood relation with him?" Jason said, still mad
"What can Piper benefit him? He can obviously extract more money from her mom, and who knows he can use her when he is bored. I mean how the hell can he fuck his own daughter?"
"Dude your words are so hurtful yet so true." Jason buried himself into his napkin.
"Guys, by the way you know there's this new girl in our school?" Daniel said with a full face of mystery.
So I wasn't dreaming! I was really paying attention! I really saw a girl at history class. Im so relieved for not seeing a spirit. But you see, our school isn't really that famous, nor is it near anywhere. It's big, but its speciallised for our neighborhood, and I didn't hear anyone shifting in since one year ago.
"You know what I'm thinking bro." Daniel continued. "Nobody shifted here for as long as I can remember."
"And she is sitting there FYI."
Three of our heads, turned back, very synchronized. We turned and saw exactly the girl I saw in history, Jason knew it too, we have some brother telepathy. She was seated at a corner with black hair that was highlighted purple, she was the type of girl I would call a vampire when I was younger.
She somehow looks familiar, in a creepy way. Her bangs covered up her right eye, as if there was something to hide there. I really wanted to walk up and brush her bangs so I could see what was under there.
"She isn't my kind of best friend you know." Daniel said as he continued to observe her.
"She doesn't look like best friend material you know." Jason added.
"She doesn't look like human material too you know, I mean those eyes, that hair.... That stare..." I stammered
"What the hell u guys doing?" Piper cut off our thoughts as she called us.
"We have no idea." Jason turned back first.
"The new girl?" Jin Wei asked.
"YOU KNOW ABOUT DA NEW GALL TOOHH OH MAI GAWDD." Daniel said in the most sissy tone.
"What the fuck Daniel your creepy."
"I mean do all of you already know about the new girl?" I asked, cause it felt as if I didn't know anything.
"Dunno, Maybe, Yea. She has been a hot topic in school today." "They said she is here for a reason." Jin Wei said.
"Wait you bastards didn't order any food yet? WHAT THE HELL MAN." Piper suddenly bursted into a ball of fire.
"We are fine with anything. Just didn't know what to order for you picky eaters." Jason coughed out these words, seriously coughed out.
"Oh yea right we are gonna order everything so shut the hell up." Jin Wei snatched the menu from Daniel's hand.
Throughout the whole meal, I swore, my eyes were glued to that girl with purple highlights, I could feel something coming. I just knew something is gonna come. And I might even have a new neighbor.
