"Gale, why are you here?" Henry approached Gale was going to give him a hug but Gale stopped him.
"Dude I don't swing that way." He sternly said. Why is he here?
"But you didn't answered the question." I said. Gale looked at me.
"I was expecting that you would go home alone. Turns out this self acclaimed hope is with you." He glared at Henry.
"Hey, many of the chosen ones said I am their hope. Stop stepping on my ego!" Henry said while trying to grab Gale's hair.
"Not the hair." He pushed Henry away from letting Henry to fall on my couch. "Also can you go home already, I need to talk to Ms, Eri here." Henry crossed his legs getting comfy with my couch.
"No can do, dude. It's pouring outside and I can't let myself get wet." He motioned his hands to his body. "Unless you want me to multiply then bother you with my minions." He smirked. Gale threw him his bag.
"You're basically saying that you're gay. And just go call Sangster, he can drive you home." Gale said. I grabbed Gale's edge of his shirt. He looked at me.
"Henry is my guest for tonight, but you just got here and I don't know why." Gale's eyes seem to flicker under the lights of my unit.
"Just...I thought I get to talk to you after I finally saw you. But," he looked at Henry. "You just have to have Henry with you for tonight." Henry smiled at him. He sighed at defeat.
"Gums don't te-" Gale threw him Henry's bag.
"I told you to stop calling me Gums!" I chuckled. Gums, maybe because he has a gummy smile.
"Sorry, but don't tell me it's her?" Henry asked. Gale nodded. "Not fair, I almost got dibs at her." Henry rose up going to my porch when he turned around once more. "I'm telling mom!" Then he got away making sobbing noises.
"Would he be alright? It is raining outside." I said.
"He'll be fine." Gale assured me. We sat at the couch.
"So mind to educate me how you got inside my unit?" I smiled at him. He was looking at me weirdly.
"I did recall Jake telling you that I'm the head of the disciplinary committee at our school, right?" I nodded. He sighed.
"What does that have to do with this?" I feel like he was going to face palmed himself but endured it.
"Well, being the head I got every chosen ones keys, passwords, or cards to their houses." He explained.
"But I'm not a chosen one."
"But you would be."
"But I'm not.
"Not now but tomorrow."
"Why tomorrow?"
"Have you forgot what day is tomorrow?" I looked at my left because that is where I place my calendar. Today is November 17.
"Shoot, tomorrow is." He patted my head.
"Finally you got the message. tomorrow you would be the chosen one. Tomorrow you would move in with us. Tomorrow you have a month to be with us. Unless we really like you and you get to stay with us as long as we want." He said.
"Did the past chosen one, did you guys liked them?"
"Oh gosh no Eri. The past chosen ones was gold-diggers. So we let them go." He said.
