City Lights

Chapter 6

We were all over with our breakfasts and were ready to leave for our classes.

It was a good 10 minutes before the lectures started and the campus was just 5 minutes away so we decided to buy some Starbucks before.

I ordered myself a chocolate chip frappe whilst the others got coffee.
"What is with you and chocolate ? Chocolate chip pancakes. Chocolate frappes . Chocolate this . Chocolate that . seriously. why don't you try some other stuff?" Anna said whilst drinking from her own glass of coffee.
I shrugged. "chocolate is chocolate. Nothing can replace it. No further arguments."
She rolled her eyes and went back to slurping her cold coffee.
Jane and Ari had left right after breakfast saying they were going to check out the new store.

Anna thou was currently typing full speed on her phone , her fingers working faster than my Brain could process.
This girl had major talent.

We reached just before Mr. Smithers entered the room.
Since it was a Friday , half of the students had decided to just miss the lecture and have fun but since the only definition of fun for me was the library , I decided to stay.

The lecture was boring as per usual.
Mr Smithers decided to let us go half an hour early which meant I could either leave for library or do whatever else I wanted to .

I'd been thinking of getting another tattoo for a long while so I decided to get it done.

I asked Anna if she was interested and she agreed . I told her to meet me there since she'd wanted to meet Niall before and I had no interest in being the third wheeler .

My first tattoo was that of a moon on the finger next to my thumb on my left hand.
It wasn't a big one , rather it was quite small, I wasn't really a fan of big tattoos.
For me, tattoos were meant to be small symbols of meanings or memories.

The moon , it was probably the only constant in my life .
Its shine illuminating all dark memories of mine. I always felt calm and comfortable being surrounded by nothing but the pale moonlight .

My second tattoo were the numbers 13/01 in roman numerical on my left ankle.
It was the day it all began , my downfall. Everything I'd ever had taken away from me.

For a long time , I'd been wanting another tattoo. I wasn't sure about the 'where' but I was sure about what I wanted to get tattooed.

I wanted it to be a small tattoo of the sun because when they left , they took away all the light from my life.
They left me with nothing but just memories of what used to be.
Memories of what we used to be.
Of what I used to be. Happy.

I decided to get a cab to the nearest tattoo parlor. Our apartment was pretty close to all the places where I usually went to but the tattoo parlor was a little off to the west of the streets and I was too tired from walking around lately .

As planned , I met Anna just outside the tattoo parlor. Niall's car was parked in the corner and I wondered if he would be going with us.
As if reading my mind on cue , Niall kissed Anna and waved at me , indicating that he'd be leaving after all and it was just Anna and me .

Both of us entered the tattoo parlor.
Anna was quite excited since it was her first tattoo and she just couldn't stop rambling and jumping .
She was like a kid hyped up on sugar.

I sighed .
There really was no way to quit her.
I wondered how Niall managed to be with her. I'd probably end up killing either of us.

"So, what are you getting?" I asked Anna.
"It's a surprise" she said excitedly.
I rolled my eyes.
Anna and her surprises.

So, 2 chapter in a day. yay
Well , this is basically just a filler.
