Marcy looked at me with a smirk. "So you love Topanga? Then she'll hate what's about to happen." I had no idea what she was talking about until she shoved me against the wall. "Marcy what are you doing?" She pressed her lips on mine and I heard a door open.
I pulled away to see who else but Topanga, in the door way. I gulped so hard I bet people in New York could hear me.
"Is this who you are? Someone like Shawn who says they have feelings for you, and then kiss another girl." She said trying not to let a tear escape.
I shoved Marcy out of the way and hugged Topanga. She wiggled out of my grip and slapped me hard across the face.
"Just meet me at the park at 4:30 please." I said as I rubbed my face and watched her walk away. "Were you talking to me or your new girlfriend?" She said sarcastically.
I shut my eyes and hung my head. Could this day get any worse! Yeah Cory, and it will.
I left the gym and everyone was pointing and laughing. I found Shawn who was practically dying of laughter.
"Shawn what's going on?" I said, very confused. "Dude, Topanga Lawrence broke up with you!" I can't believe it! Who told them! I gasped, "Topanga!" The bell rang for history.
I walked into Feeny's classroom and even he was laughing. I took my usual seat behind Topanga and in front of Shawn.
"Class today we will be talking about the American Revolution. Two countries that should be united, caught in battle." Topanga looked back at me. Man how does Feeny do this? He always relates school to our lives.
"Anyone know how it started?" Topanga replied with, "The colonists didn't want to deal with the taxes so they fought back."
He nodded and continued. "April 19th 1775, the first shot that lead to war, was fired. The battle of bunker hill. Thousands of redcoats invaded the colonist's fort, 4 times. The finally won when the colonist ran out of ammo."Again, relating to Topanga and I. "Kinda sounds like a fight between us, huh?" I said to her. "Oh shut up!" She said kinda harshly. "Yow." The bell rang so I grabbed my bag and didn't waste any time I needed to get ready to meet Topanga at the park.
Once I was home, my mom tried to stop me from getting up the stairs without saying hi to her. "Mom, I don't have time for this! I need to meet Topanga at the park at 4:30. It's already 4:15! Forget it." I dropped my bag and ran to my car.
I was racing to get there. I looked at my watch for a split second. I put my eyes back on the road to see a mini van headed right towards me.
Next thing I see is blackness.
