The bell rang and I left class. I had lunch now and since Topanga was showing this kid the ropes so he will probably sit with us.
I walked to the cafeteria but I was stopped at the door by Topanga. "What?" She put her hand on my chest, "You're jealous." I shook my head, "Of what?" She raised an eyebrow. "His good looks, his smartness, his good singing-" I rolled my eyes, "I get the point."
I walked to the table and sat next to Shawn. Usually Topanga sits next to me, but today, she sat next to Brian. I looked at him and got so angry inside my head, that I stabbed my food and broke the fork in the same shot.
I snapped back into reality and looked at the broken fork in my hand. I looked at the table all staring at me. I stood up, "Excuse me." I left the cafeteria and Brian followed me.
"What was that about?" He said coldly. I balled my fists and turned around slowly. "I really don't think you should be around Topanga if you act like that all the time." I looked down then I looked up with my head tilted to the left. "And I really think my fist should meet your face but you don't see that happening."
"Why so hostile?" He said stepping closer. I stepped back and hit into a locker.
"Topanga and I deserve to be together. Meet me right here at 3:00 on the dot. Don't be late." He said before walking away.
--
I went to the spot he told me to meet him at. I didn't want to tell Topanga, but she found out.
He had a stack of index cards in his hand. "Whoever knows more about her gets her." I looked at him like he was crazy. I thought we were gonna fight. "Cory, what's going on?" I looked at Brian, turned around and walked away.
I heard a quick scream which was cut off kinda fast. I turned around and saw Brian and Topanga kissing. She was trying to escape his grip. I ran over and pulled her out of his grip.
Not knowing Topanga jumped in the way I swung at him and accidentally hit Topanga.
She fell to the ground and curled in a ball. I kneeled down and scooped her up. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" she cut me off, "You've done enough. We need to talk later."
Uh oh.
--
I drove her home but the entire way she ignored me.
"I told you I'm sorry." I said as we walked into her house, "Never in my life would I want to hurt you." Her nose was probably broken and it was all my fault.
"Cory I don't like this side of you. Ever since I was helping Brian out you've been a different person. I don't like it. Yes, I think Brian is good looking but that doesn't change the way I feel about you. I love you and only you. You're my first and only love. Now started acting differently or our relationship won't last much longer."
I nodded and hugged her.
I need to get rid of this guy.
