End And Start

I walked into school the next morning still depressed. Topanga walked up to me. "Can we talk after school at Chubbie's?" I nodded and we walked to class.

"Cory! Listen, with me and Topanga, I just don't think it's gonna work out. I don't really see us as a couple." I squinted my eyes. "So you're breaking up with Topanga?" Shawn nodded and sat behind me.

Now I have mixed emotions. I don't like Shawn and Topanga together at all, but I also don't want Topanga to be broken hearted.

School just ended and I went over to Chubbie's to meets Topanga. I walked down the stairs and saw Shawn and Topanga talking. She stood up with a tear running down her face. She got up and was trying to run up the stairs but ran right into me

"I'm- Cory?" I nodded as she started to cry. "You wanted to talk so I came down here." She looked up at me. Her eye looked worse than yesterday.

We sat down and I ordered a Chubbie Burger. "Why did you do it? Why did you kiss another girl?" I looked down at my soda and mixed it around with the straw.

"I didn't Topanga. All that happened was me and Marcy were talking at football practice and she leaned in to kiss me and I pushed her away. When Shawn came in it looked like she had just kissed me. I see the pain you go through and I would never want to add to that pain. I love you."

She smiled at me. "Cory, what are we? Are we friends or what?" I smiled back, "Or what." We both leaned in and our lips connected. I felt a trillion fireworks go off.

Cory Matthews is back.

We pulled away and I saw Jed coming down the stairs. "Topanga hide." She ducked behind the booth. "Why am I hiding exactly?" I shushed her as Jed walked over to be and sat down.

"Heard you kissed another girl while you were dating Topanga. You hurt her like she's never been hurt before." I looked him in the eyes, "You physically hurt her. I caused her less pain in the month we've been dating than you have in a day. I love her." He got up and walked away.

I was sitting on the outer part of the booth. Topanga got up and pushed me into my back on the booth. She placed her lips on mine and began getting more passionate. I kissed back and I've never felt more alive.

I kinda feel bad for Shawn now...
