New School || Chapter 1

Kayla's POV

"Wake up!" I hear ringing in my ears.

I sit up and smack my head against something really hard.

"Ow, what was that for?!" I hear

My vision clears and I see my best friend, Aimee sitting on my floor

"What? How the hell did you get here??" I ask, rubbing my head

"I walked." She says and starts to go through my closet

"YOU WALKED?!" I yell. And I'll tell you why I yelled.

We both live on a hill. She lives on the upper part of the hill, and I live on the lower part. She walked here and it's not a very short walk. It's actually kind of far. And she basically go up and walked all the way down to my house at 6 am. But DO IT FOR THE FRIENDSHIP 😂

"It wasn't that far" she says and shrugs.

I get up and do the things I usually do the regular things I do in the morning, and Aimee walks into the bathroom with a tank top and shorts.

"Wear this to school today!" She says

I can't tell if she's kidding or not but there's no way I'm wearing that.

"Yeah, no thanks I'll pick my own outfit. I don't feel like getting dress coded on my first day."

I pick an outfit, which is pants, and a shirt and a really pretty jacket. With roshe shoes cause DUH, and we eat our breakfast.

My brother Laxus, well I call him laxative is going to drive us to school and he takes FOREVER to eat so we sit there yelling at him until he finishes his food.

"Come on! We're gonna be late!" I yell

"Aren't you nervous? Why do you even want to go so early?" He asks, right before shoveling a giant scoop of cereal into his mouth.

"Because I don't feel like being late on my first day of 10th grade. You don't wanna be late either right?" I ask aimee, who isn't even paying attention to me and instead staring at my dumb brother.

"Hey, you need to stop staring at my brother, because that's weird af and you need to hurry the hell up or I'll embarrass you in front of the cute girls at our new school." I say, irritated by both of them.

"Okay fine, fine" aimee says as she walks to the door.

"Are you on your period?!" Laxative asks

"Just hurry." I say rolling my eyes at him

As you can see
I don't really like my brother.

We get out of the house, and FINALLY get into the car.

"NOOO" Aimee yells as she checks her phone

"What?" I ask

"Yeah, we're gonna have to go back to my house... We have to pick Erza up." She says

Erza is Aimee's super cool and awesome older sister. Who is in the same grade as my brother. 11th grade. All the boys have a crush on her, but she doesn't like any of them back. She used to have a huge crush on my brother, but we really don't know if it died down or not.

We get to Aimee's house and see a red haired girl standing outside.

"Hey guys" she says as she gets into the car

We all return the greeting and Laxus starts a boring conversation with her about their classes.

*time skip*

We get to this giant school called South Westing High School.

We finally find a parking spot and go to the office to get our schedules.

When we get to the office, I suddenly get really nervous and I rush through the building and trip over a backpack and fall onto someone kneeling on the floor.

I realize what just happened, and quickly get off of him.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" I ask

"Yeah, I'm fine." The person says as I look at him.

HOLY SHATUTYA HES HOT

"Are you okay? Do you need help?" He asks as he holds out his hand for me.

HAHLKFTLSDWLAUWUAYAYSWAEAA WTF I LOVE THIS GUY

I grab his hand, and he helps me up. And He's strong af.

"Thanks" I say and go to the front desk to get my schedule.

"Great job, you got a hottie" Aimee says to me as I wait for my schedule to be printed out.

I look at her and give her a death glare, and she puts her hands up in surrender.

I finally get my schedule, and wait for Aimee to get hers.

"Hey, I never got your name, what is it? Mine is Sting Eucliffe." The boy from earlier says.

"Oh um hi sting, my name is Kayla Dreyar" I say, praying that Aimee would hurry up, but hoping I could stay at the same time.

"What's your schedule?" Sting asks

I tell him my schedule and we have all of the same classes. HELL YEAH

"I can walk you to your classes if you want." He says

"Okay, sure" I say, as Aimee runs towards us.

"What are your classes??" She asks

We tell her our classes and find out she also has the same classes as us.

BEST FRIEND AND FUTURE BOYFRIEND IN ALL OF MY CLASSES.

yes. I said it, "future boyfriend"

First, we had science so Sting showed us to the classroom

When we got to the science classroom, we saw Erza there, and she was surrounded by boys.

We sat on tables in pairs and this pink haired kid motioned for Aimee to sit by him. She seemed very unsure, but I urged her to go ahead. I mean, he looks nice.

I sat with Sting and the teacher started the lesson.

*Natsu's POV*

I saw Sting walk in with some girl he liked- he texted me about it, and some other girl, that I liked. So I motioned for her to by me, and she did. SCORE! I got a hot girl to sit with me!

"this is so boring!" The girl whispers to me.

"I know right. By the way, the names Natsu Dragneel." I say, winking.

"My name is Aimee Scarlet." She says

"You're new here, huh?" I ask, already knowing she's new but, whatever.

"Yeah" she says

"Do you have any friends here?" I ask, hoping she won't name a lot of people so I can be her friend.

"yeah actually. The people I came in here with, the boy was sting and the girl was my best friend Kayla. She just moved here too. I also have 2 friends in the 11th grade, one is Erza Scarlet who is in this class, and also my older sister. And Laxus Dreyar who is Kayla's older brother." She says

"Yeah I know sting. Hes my best friend." I say

"Really that's cool!" She says

"Hey, Natsu. Stop chatting with your little friend there and get working. You too young lady." Ms. Green says.

I look over to Aimee and see her blushing, and I start to laugh

*time skip*

Class finally ended and I told Aimee I'd sit with her at lunch. Can't wait.
