(A/N) guys I'm sorry it's been so long, let me just explain to you what happened. Okay so I basically wrote a huge, amazing chapter (not to brag) but I honestly spent so much fuckn time on it, and it fucckwisiising deleted. I pretty much cried for a solid ten minutes, and had a panic attack. I was so pissed off. But anyway here's my new chapter. -fairytailtrash
Aimee's pov:
After school Kayla and I went straight to my house to get ready for the night.
"Homecoming is only 3 hours away!" Kayla squeals, doing a little jump.
"Wasn't Stings dance proposal adorable? He didn't have to go so far out." She says, dropping her bags down in my living room.
"You're face was so cute oh my god. I'm glad you didn't find out about it before." I say, grabbing snacks for her and I before we start to get ready.
"Natsu should've done a cute proposal" she says, getting a bottle of water from the fridge.
"Eh, I'd rather he didn't, it's just a cute simple dance. I wouldn't want him to spend any more money then he needs to. Although it still would've been pretty cute." I admit, chomping down on a banana.
Kayla and I sit and eat for awhile, talking about how exciting tonight would be. This is going to be sooo much fun!!!
A couple days prior to the dance, we coordinated our dresses to the guys ties, then went out shopping with them.
I had gotten a short, simple red dress. And Kayla an almost identical one in dark blue.
I play a few YouTube tutorials on my phone, trying to pick up cute hair style ideas from some beauty guru chicks. How the hell do some of these girls find time to put on so much makeup everyday??
"I think we should start to get ready, Sting'll be here to pick us up in 2 hours." Kayla replies, fanning her face nervously.
We call down Erza and her best friend MiraJane to come and help us out with our makeup and hair, since Mira was pretty talented at that kind of stuff.
Mira does Kayla's makeup first, a simple winged eyeliner look and dark purple lips.
Erza and I attempt to do Kayla's hair, but Mira laughs and takes over.
Kayla's hair is in a braided bun, a few hairs falling astray.
"O my god best friend, you look amazing." I screech, running to hug her, careful not to smudge her makeup.
She slips on her dress and her black high heels to complete the look. "Can't wait till Sting sees you in that dress" I laugh.
"His face'll be priceless" Erza chips in.
Mira starts to get to work on my makeup, a little eyeliner and mascara, then a smokey eyed eyeshadow look.
Mira curls my hair, and braids a part in the front to the side.
I strap on some black sandals and slip into my dress, admiring my image in the mirror before stepping out of the bathroom to join the others downstairs.
Suddenly I felt really hot, as if someone was wafting hot air into my face.
"Is it getting hot in here or is it just me?" I mutter to myself, flicking off the light in the bathroom.
