They were as dark as mine.
Lost in dispare and thought.
A dark brown as if it were black.
As I was once the same I set the volume to block the world,
yet found myself on the brink of tears.
Her absence,
You could see it all in her eyes,
but she sits with her head low
and mouth closed.
Her head in a storm,
her eyes like ice
and the joy slowly fading away.
All just like me
hopefully soon she'll find the light.
As it took me a while.
