“(sister's name)! Wear your hat you don’t want Jack Frost nipping at your nose”, you told you little sister. "Who's Jack Frost?", (sister's name) asked innocently. "No one, it's just an expression", you answered.
You stood outside your house as you watched your little sister play with the snow. You never loved the winter nor did you ever hate it, but even so, you will still find yourself outside your house playing with the snow like you never grew up.
You were enjoying the feeling of the snowflakes as they landed on your skin which, always make you feel peaceful inside, when your phone suddenly rang. You took your phone out to see who dare to disturb from the peace you were having, your eyebrows instantly met each other when you saw who was calling you. It was Ivan, the person you hate so much that your day gets ruined with just the sound of his name. The reason you hate him is that he’s too full of his self thinking that every girl would fall for him. Not wanting to ruin your day furthermore you just shut your phone.
“Who was calling?”, your li’l sister suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
“No one”, you answered not wanting to mention his name.
“Then why was your phone ringing?” ,she asked again innocently. Just how can she be so sharp? , you thought to yourself “Okay, it was just some stupid animal depicting the image of a human”, you said the insult out of irritation, not on your little sister but about the ever assuming Ivan.
“An animal called you?!”, she asked quite surprised about your answer.
“Hey, aren’t going to play with your friends, (sister's name)?”, you tried to change the topic.
“Oh yeah that’s right!”,(sister's name) said with a beaming smile. Relieved that she took it you smiled back at her.
“We actually wanted you join us sis!”, she added, the other kids also surrounded with high hopes in their eyes that you’d join them. You always played with them during winter because kids always have a soft spot in you.
“I…”, then you remembered the person who called you ruining your mood. “I’m sorry, but, I’m not really in the mood today.”
“Awww”, they said in unison.
“Maybe next time”, you smiled. With that said the kids started with a snowball fight including your sister. A cold brisk of wind suddenly blew, VERY COLD, causing you to shiver then you noticed that you’re not wearing your scarf and also noticed that you were a wearing a light jacket because (sister's name) dragged you outside not giving you a chance to wear proper winter clothes, so you turned to get it inside your house then a snowball hit you at your nape.
You were annoyed, very annoyed. You turned looking for the culprit with eyes narrowed and brows furrowed. Then the moment you turned another snowball hit you right at the face. The kids stopped and all of them were surprised and gave you innocent gazes. Then you chuckled and started to laugh. Forgetting all the “annoyed” thingy you threw snowballs at the kids.
“You guys want me to join you that bad? All right! I’ll play with you!”, you said playfully.
You played with the kids. You were all laughing, throwing not caring anymore whoever you hit. You even made snow angels and snowmen. The fun just ended because superior beings called parents interfered to make the little kids fill up their stomachs.
“We might as well eat some lunch”, you suggested and your sister nodded.

The sun has set and the sky turned dark filled with the stars twinkling and the moon shining.
You were having dinner with your family.
“So (your name), have you gotten a boyfriend yet?”, your older brother asked.
“That’s not necessary for me”, you replied. Why? They’re bothersome…. You witnessed how your friend got heartbroken. But, of course you do have someone you like; it’s Marvin a very cute soccer player. He’s very attractive and also not to mention his good grades. You remembered his bright brown eyes, his soft brown hair and his- NO! wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, WAIT A MINUTE! This is not the time to be daydreaming, you snapped yourself from drooling over the cute soccer player.
“And she’ll have to introduce him to me first!”, your mother interrupted
“Mum!”, you said telling her to stop.
“Don’t rush (your name), she’s still young for that”, your father scolded the two.
“Oh come on dear, she’s 16”, your mum said in a playful tone.
“No, that’s still next year, so technically she’s still 15”, and with that they started arguing.
You can’t help but just face palm about the fact that your mum is joking around about you having a boyfriend. After more arguments your mum finally said, “Oh please of course I won’t let (your name) have a boyfriend now, she needs to study first, you don’t have a boyfriend right?”, she glared at you for a second when she said the word “boyfriend”. You just nodded.
“Of course she doesn’t have one! She’s way too violent for that”, (brother's name) teased.
“I’m not way TOO violent! Just a little I think…”, you defended yourself.
“Oh Mum, Dad, you should have seen what she did when a guy tried to hi---safkngkdak”, you covered his mouth.
“Oh please! I don’t wanna talk about that”, you rolled your eyes.
“It was hilarious! Too hilarious not to be talked about!”, he said between his laughs as he recalled the incident.
“You can’t blame me if I get violent around those stupid guys, cause I didn’t live 15 years of my life with my older brothers just for nothing”, you reasoned. Yes, you remembered your eldest brother who has his own life now.
“That’s why I’m proud of you (your name)! I didn’t train you for nothing”, (brother's name) joked. With that you remembered your childhood how you wrestled with your brothers.
“But I think you should involve yourself with more girly stuff”, your mum suggested.
“I’ll try”, you replied with a weak smile.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the hilarious dinner, you went upstairs to your room. You checked your phone and scanned through some messages and replied to some. You did your evening routine. As you were brushing your hair you opened and felt the cold breeze pass by kissing your cheeks. You stared at the moon. It was shining brightly, you just looked at it and it seemed to smile down at you.
“Just a few more weeks and it's Christmas, I wonder how Santa is doing...”, you asked no one in particular. You just chuckled on how stupid you sound. A 15-years-old teenage girl? Still believes on some myths? That's stupid alright.
Snow started to fall. You reached out your hand and let the snow land on your palm. You remembered about a myth of a mischievous winter spirit...what was his name again? Something like Jerk Frost no,...maybe Ja...Jack Freeze? No, I don't think so you thought to yourself. You tried to remember who he was. You searched in all parts of your brain where the name of the winter spirit could be..
"Ah, Jack Frost", you finally remembered
A cold breeze suddenly blew so you closed the window and went to your bed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were sleeping, having a pleasant dream. You were just snatched away from your dreamworld with something cold... You could feel something cold land on your face. Your eyes fluttered open and got wider when you saw what was inside your room.
Snowflakes. ----------------------------------------------------
