"(your name)!(your name)! Wake up!",
"Ugh, 5 more minutes", you hid your face under your covers.
"Are you planning to sleep here all day?! It's already lunch time!"
"What?!", you got up the moment you heard the words lunch time. You saw your brother seating next to you.
"Well, just go down stairs I've already prepared your food", he said as he went towards the door.
"Are you sure it's not poisoned?", you said playfully.
"Maybe", he joked around and he finally left. He wasn't serious when he said that, it's just how he is.
You stretched your arms upward, then you remembered the incident last night or early morning rather. You looked around and everything seems to be normal. Your hockey stick was resting against the wall and it seems untouched. The frost patterns were still on your window but it's just normal during winter you thought convincing yourself that the incident with Jack Frost was just a dream. There were no signs of the winter spirit in your room. You concluded that everything was just a dream so you did your morning routine. You went downstairs and saw (brother'sname) watching t.v.
"Where's Mum and Dad?", you asked as you can't feel anyone else in the house except for the two of you.
"They already left...y'know they're on a trip because of the business thingy", he replied. "How could you forget that? Your brain must be getting dull", he added.
"Just because I forgot one thing doesn't mean that I'm getting stupid", you said rolling your eyes. That's right they left...and your little sister, "And (sister's name)?",
"See your brain is getting dull! She's with a relative...Aunt Sarah was it?"
"Oh (brother's name) it's Aunt Sandra! Who's getting stupid now?", you smirked
"Yeah whatever, but y'know I still can't believe that they actually allowed you to be home alone",
"Me too, I don't even know how I won the argument against Mum about this", that's right, your parents normally asked relatives to stay with you whenever they'll be on a trip. This time is just different somehow you miraculously convinced your parents to be aloneso that you can be independent. They just let your little sister stay with your relative in the next time. (sister's name) was also good friends with your little cousin so your aunt Sandra didn't mind.
"Anyway, I'm leaving", your brother said as he stood up.
"Huh?",
"I still have classes tomorrow, college remember? Why? Do you expect me to stay here to keep you company?", he went upstairs to get his things.
"Of course not!", after a few minutes he went downstairs with his backpack.
"And also mum left a note on your dresser", he said before reaching out to the door.
"Okay, will you still go back on weekends?"
"Aw, I'm so touched I haven't even left and my little sister already miss me", he said patting your head.
"As if!", you pushed his hand away.
He chuckled,"Of course I'll go back on weekends, I'll also visit you if I'll have some time", he smiled and left. Your brother could be stupid and annoying but he sure is caring. You stood in front of the door first thinking about how kind your broher can be. Then, your stomach started to grumble reminding you that you still haven't eaten your breakfast or lunch rather. You turned-
"Hey there!", you had a mini heart attack as you saw Jack his face only a few inches away from yours and to make matters worse he was hanging upside down in the air.
