You were kilometers above ground with only the Guardian of Fun to assure you make it back in one piece. He got you (hopefully)safely in his arms, but since you're still not used to flying above the clouds you still had your arms around his neck, while holding his staff in your hand, for more assurance for your dear life. Under normal circumstances you wouldn't really agree to be this close to a guy. Well, this was definitely NOT under normal circumstances so exceptions could be made. The night winds were very cold and the fact that Jack Frost doesn't have any body warmth is not helping. Still strangely enough though, despite all the cold, you can still feel your face warming up.
"Oh my, Jack, could you remind why I agreed to go with you?!" you shouted at him because it's really hard to communicate through words with all the winds violently whipping on your face as you clung to the white-haired teenage looking guy namely Jack Frost for dear life.
"Wasn't it because you wanted to meet the other Guardians?" he replied with another question innocently.
"Yeah right...Guess I'll have to get used to your means of transportation," you murmured
"Say Snowflake, do you trust me?" well that came out of the blue. You wondered why he asked that but when you looked at him and saw that mischievous glint in his eyes, you instantly knew that he was up to something crazy...AGAIN.
"If saying yes means you'll have me participate in something you consider fun which threatens to shorten my life here on Earth then hell NO! I don't!"
"Aw come one (your name)! You wouldn't let me carry you like this if you didn't," his playful tone made it back to his voice.
"Do I have a choice? We had no other way to go to the North Pole! And besides, I don't want to trust you any more than this!" you decided to remain adamant with our decision not to let Jack get you involved with something "fun" again no matter how much he pouts childishly at you.
"Guess I'll just save it for another time then," you were kind of relieved after hearing that he won't try to pull crazy stunts on you...for the time being, that is. "We're almost there anyway," he continued.
"Really?" you looked up ahead and saw a figure of some very large building...Was that supposed to be Santa's Workshop?
"We're going down now," he announced. True enough, you felt him go downwards. He let you down once you were near the ground. You gave his staff back and started walking. He walked right beside you while humming happily.
"Is it really alright for me to be here?" you started to get nervous now that you were nearing Santa's workshop. It's majestic, way beyond your expectations.
"Of course!" he immediately exclaimed. "Well, I just hope North thinks the same" he grinned.
"You...You're impossible!" seriously...he brought you all the way here and he says he's not really sure if it's fine for you to be there. He sure needs to be serious at times you thought. "Don't you even know if there's some rule against letting a mortal in the Workshop?"
"Now that you mention that...there might be one," his statement made you stop on your tracks; he also stopped to look at you. "Well, even I wasn't allowed in the workshop before I officially became a guardian, for countless times I've tried to bust in but never succeeded."
