Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep...
God, stupid alarm clock...
My arms escaped from out the dark blue covers and hit the top of the black alarm clock hard. My green eyes shot open as I sat up in my king sized bed. The blinding light rays from the sun invaded my room through the widely open window. The cold breeze gave me chills. I heavily sighed as I got out of bed and planted my feet on the wooden floor.
First day of school, Collin.
I slowly, lazily, and tiredly walked down the long fleet stairs and into the small kitchen where my mom was.
"Morning, Mom."
The sudden sound of my voice made her jump. She turned around and looked me hard in the eyes.
"Collin, you scared me half to death!"
"Sorry." I shrugged as I got an apple from the fruit bowl on the marble kitchen table.
"What the hell are you doing here?" she asked while going back to chopping some type of food with a large knife.
"I live here." I said sarcastically as I took a bite into the red juicy apple.
"That's not what I meant, Collin. You should be at school."
That made me pause for a moment.
"School?" I asked.
"Yes, school. You know, that place where I send you every day to learn, but I'm sure you don't learn a thing other than how to be a smart ass." she joked with a small smirk pulling on her lips.
"Haha, very funny, mom." I rolled my eyes. "What time is it?"
"Its seven thirty."
"Oh, then I'm not late." I sighed in relief.
"You sure about that? Cause classes start at eight, not eight thirty."
"What?" I shouted.
"Did you forget we moved? Not every school has the same start time, Collin."
Right when she said that, I threw the unfinished apple in the trash and darted up the stairs. I can not be late for school. I'm already the new kid starting the new school year, I don't need to bring even more attention to myself with being late and all.

"Chris, I'm leaving." I spoke lowly to my drunken father as he watched some type of sport game with a whole bottle of whiskey in his large hands.
Jesus Christ, Chris. Its seven thirty in the fucking morning, and your already drunk? Talk about no class.
"Where the hell do you think your going dressed like that, whore?" he shouted angrily.
"To school... its the first day..." I replied, afraid. Nothing good ever comes out of him being drunk.
"Oh. Well then what the hell are you doing just standing around? Get the fuck out my house!"
"Gladly..." I mumbled while running out the door and locking it.
Time for a new year of hell.

~Collin's P.O.V~
I parked my black, shiney motorcycle at the front of the school. I removed my helmet to see a bunch of sophomore girls staring at me and whispering.
Way to not bring attention to yourself, Collin.
MY eyes were locked on the entrance of the school. There were steps leading up to the front doors, and right next to the doors were two benches and lots of beautiful roses planted in the very green grass. The benches were red with a unique pattern imprinted on it. The doors were wide open, letting the students walk in without having to open the doors each time someone entered. My eyes trailed around the large building of the school. This place was huge. Way bigger than my old school. A bunch of girls were staring at me... I felt awkward. I chained up my bike and walked towards the front doors in a rush. I hate when people stare at me. It makes me feel like there's something wrong with me... or that I was different. Since I was walking so fast, I bumped into someone and knocked them down to the floor, along with their books.
