~Allison's P.O.V~
I felt the warm sun rays peeking through the windows on my face. I put out a hand, trying to block the suns bright, blinding rays. It didn't exactly work, so I decided to crawl under the covers and face the other way. I like my sleep. I'll be trapped here all week, so might as well just sleep. I soon come to realize that I wasn't in the bed alone...
My hand patted around in the bed to feel for something, when something long and wet slid across my face. I screamed and rolled out the bed, hitting the floor quite painfully. I hit my head pretty hard.
"Ow..." I ached as familiar hands helped me off the ground.
"Allison, are you okay?" Collin asked frantically.
"I hit my head pretty bad..." I winced.
"Yeah, I see. You're bleeding a little bit."
"Hey, is she okay?" Sky walked in.
"I'm fine. Just bleeding a little bit. What the hell was that?" I whipped around to see a large dog sitting on the bed.
"Melanie! Get down, girl." Sky ordered at the dog. She obeyed, hopping off the bed and left the room.
"A dog? A God damn dog? Since when do you have a dog?" I glared at Sky.
"Whoa there, little miss 'fell-of-the-bed', calm down." he chuckled. "My parents are here because they wanted to see if the people I'm going to be living with for a week was safe to be around, and they couldn't leave Mel all by herself, so, they brought her." he shrugged.
"Why was she in here, though?" I sat on the bed as Collin went into the bathroom.
"...Well, uh... she was in the way, ya' know? She kept jumping up on me and..." Sky explained, sitting next to me.
"You let her in here? As I try to sleep?" I shouted at him.
"Sorry, gorgeous." he laughed as I hit his arm.
"I'm bleeding now because of you." I muttered as Collin came back with a wet rag in his hand. He sat on the other side of me, putting the rag to my head to clean the wound. I winced at the sudden contact.
"No, that was Mel's fault, not mine." he chuckled while laying back on the bed.
"So typical, you blame the dog." I joked.
"Sky, we're getting ready to go." Sky's mom entered the room. She glared at me, then Collin, then back at me.
"Hello, Mrs. Parker. It's very nice to meet you." I smiled at her.
She scoffed, and said, "I'm leaving, Sky. Next time I come, make sure this mess you call a home is at least decent."
"Whatever, woman. Just leave." Sky rolled his eyes.
"Where did I go wrong with you?" she scowled him.
"I don't have time for you. We've got to get to school, and she has stuff to do today." Sky sat up.
"What, is she your whore?" she spat at me.
"What did you just call me?" I stood up.
"Allison, no." I heard Collin say from behind me.
"No, what the hell did you just call me?" I took one step forward. Sky just sat there, laughing.
"A whore." she hissed.
"You bitch!" I leaped at her, but before I knew it, I had Sky and Collin holding me back.
"Come on, cranky. Calm down." Sky chuckled.
