Chapter 4: The Little Talks

Natsu's POV

Sweat dripped from my chin as ran on the court, having the basketball in my hand. In one swift move, it was soon swooshing through the hoop.

"And that's game." I said victoriously.

Gray clicked his tongue. "Dammit."

Me and Gajeel high fived at our win. I looked to the left bleachers as the girls cheered. I smiled brightly at them. That got them more riled up. Jellal handed me a towel and a water bottle as well for Gajeel and Gray.

Soon the girls leave and it leaves us guys sitting on the court.

"So Natsu, I hear you got transferred into the mixed Gender dorms. Is that true?" Gray asked.

Jellal and Gajeel's eyes widen. "You get to be with a girl?" they asked in unison.

Taking a sip from my water, I nod.

"What?! How?!" they all ask.

"I asked for a change in dorms cause the partner I had was an asshole. But they said that all the other Boy Dorms were full so they moved me into the Mixed Genders. It was only by chance I ended up with a girl."

They're mouths dropped. "So who's the girl?" Gray asked.

"This girl named Lucy Heartfilia." I shrugged.

"You mean the new Homeschooled babe everyone's talking about?! You ended up with her?!" Gray said, his eyes practically bulging out of his head.

"Yeeeaaaahhh..."

"You lucky bastard." Gajeel said, punching my shoulders a little too hard.

Jellal stands up. "Well I got to go help out in the Student Council office. See'ya" He said as he left the gym.

"Yeah I got to go too." I say. "I have homework for Mr. Guildart's class."

"That old man gives out too much work" Gajeel said picking up his belongings.

We all leave the gym and the guys go to the left route while I go the other direction. Is it weird to share a room with girl? I mean we're just people. I huffed a sigh.

I unlocked the dorm room and got in. I set my bag down and looked around the room to see Luce sleeping.

"Guess she beat me to the room." I chuckled.

I walked over to her and bent down, tilting my head so I could look at her.  Her bangs covered her eyes and her breathing was steady.

"How did I end up with you Luce?" I whispered. I smiled. Maybe it's not too bad I ended up with you.

"Mmmmmm uhhhhhh Lucyyyy kiCK."

"Huh?" Before I knew it, She nailed me in the stomach with her foot and I flew back, hitting my head on the wall.

"Wah Huh?" She said as she sat up, drool next to her lip. "Natsu what are you doing sitting over there?" She said tilting her head.

I stared in shock at the blonde. Did she really not notice she kicked me?

"Pfffft HAHAHAHAHAHAHA." I began laughing.

"What happened?" she said looking confused.

I wiped a tear from my eye. "You gotta really strong kick Luce. You nailed me right in the gut." I pointed at my stomach.
