Emma's P.O.V

It's my birthday soon!!!!

So this is what I get for trying! Caspar and Joe are such.... Uggghhh! Just so annoying. They've gone and threatened ME, they thought, because Alfie wasn't listening to them they would threaten me to not step a foot towards him (Alfie)! I just wish Charleigh wasn't at Uni! She would know what to do and what to say, she's got some proper good come backs! I'm gonna have a break down soon, there's nothing I can do, Caspar and Joe are everywhere. I can't get out their house without them either questioning me (which is weird) or following me (which is weird too). I don't know which ones the worst!

Charleigh was 'supposed ' to be coming back from Uni this week but I had heard nothing from her. The last time she had arranged to come back she didn't! She was very sorry though. I got a phone call from her the next day, this is how the conversation went:

"Hello" I said.

"Hey, look, I'm so sorry..." She said from the other end of the phone but I cut her off mid sentence.

"No, it's fine, I understand, you can't make it. Again! The time when I need you most of all!" I said with a bland but disappointed tone of voice.

"Look, I'm really sorry. I can't get back. My flight has been cancelled because of a stupid storm! So all of the planes from America to England are cancelled!"

"Well, at least it's not your fault this time that you can't come back." I said, bursting into a chuckle.

"I promise I'll get on the next plane that boards, if I can obvs"

"Don't worry about it!"

"Thanks for been so supportive about it, I'm so miffed off"

"But wait! My parents, they're in America! What if they don't get back."

"They'll be fine, I'll contact them. Everything's gonna be fine" She said in a reassuring manner.

Charleigh's P.O.V

There is NO storm, there is NO cancelled flights. I made it all up! Me and her parents have arranged the best surprise 21st birthday party EVER! Her parents flew over to help me organize a few things in case Emma caught us on face time to each other, it was just easier. Meanwhile, Alfie was in with it all, and so were Caspar and Joe. But now that Alfie and Emma broke up and then got back together again, and Caspar and Joe are now enemies with Alfie we have no clue what to do to solve this. That's why we need some more time in America! The party is going to be set in a huge hall in the middle of London, we are gonna have the best time of our lives. Except one thing, Alfie....

I rang Caspar to see what was going on:

"Caspar, hello, can you hear me?"

"Yes I can hear you Charleigh"

"Good!"

"What do you want Char?"

"I need to talk to you about Alfie, and Emma."

"Whoa, hold it there. He's not coming to the 'thing'!"

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about. Alfie and Emma are in a really good relationship"

"You call this a good relationship! He's not coming, END OF!"

He hung up the phone and I had no clue what to say to Emma's parents who were waiting for me in the next room of the hotel....

At the party there's gonna be:

-So many balloons although Emma isn't really a big fan but it's not a party without balloons

-Loads of food and drink

-Tonnes of family and friends from all over the world

-A massive glitter ball hung from the ceiling

-Alfie (It's what Emma wants, not Caspar or Joe)

I'm not just gonna not invite her boyfriend just because her brother says not to!

Emma's P.O.V

I'm outta here! If they think I will stand alone in this battle, they're wrong. I'm giving up! I'm going to go somewhere with Alfie, so that they can see how much they WON'T miss me at all. I know Charleigh said that she was planning to get the next plane back to England but.... There is no bad weather, there are no cancelled flights! Charleigh lied to me, but I don't think it was for a bad reason. She probably just needs more time to study and things, so won't tell me because I'm not as important! Me and Alfie are gonna go somewhere where no one can follow us, we're not running away though. Alfie thinks it's a bad idea and that instead, we should just stand up to my family and friends, but I just want to be free. I want to not have family or friends other than Alfie any more! It's gonna be so exciting, just like an adventure, with the best possible person by my side. If only a miracle could happen and pull all of my family and friends together again! I text Charleigh and told her I was off and told her I'd packed my bags (although I hadn't) and I was gone. I was out everyone's way, and there was nothing and no one who could stop us.

So, my bags are packed and I'm gone as soon as I can. I've not told Caspar yet because he won't let me out the house if I tell him, although I'm already having trouble getting out the house! Alfie beeped his car horn to say he was here so I hauled my colossal case down the stairs. Caspar was at the bottom of the stairs like usual, I said I was going on a 'holiday'. I'm not, I'm leaving, probably forever, but he believed me and let me go. On the way to the train station I was looking around my home town, I was gonna miss this place but my family and SOME friends left me no choice. The birds were singing, the tree's waving goodbye and the occasional car drove by us, this was the last time I would see this place! The last time I would see them cars, I hoped the birds would follow me, far far away, so that I still had part of my home with me. I formed goose bumps on the bottom half of my arms, then they grew to the tops of my arms, my legs, my whole body. I was swarmed by them, a bunch of buzzing, stinging, spine chilling wasps out to get me. I was drowning in my own sorrow, this was it! As I drove past a sign for another city, my heart sank. I had left my home town for good and would never return....
