Christmas Eve News

Joe's P.O.V

    I'm really worried about my best mates sister been in hospital! Especially over Christmas, that's just the worst time. I decided I would visit her on Christmas Eve with Caspar, we wouldn't stay long because she doesn't have that private room any more so it's a bit of a bummer!

    On Christmas morning me and Caspar are gonna have an early morning (Caspar will wake me up so there's no chance of a lie-in), open all of our jokey presents we got each other. There's a blooming lot too because we've been saving up for a couple of months so bad about £100-£200 to spend each other and then more for other friends and family. I'm then gonna head over to my mums house for Christmas dinner and then to my dads for the night (my parents split up when I was littler) I will write a paragraph or two about how this happened. and I think Caspar is going to go and visit Emma in hospital and then go to his parents house for 1 or 2 nights.

"Caspar!?" I shouted to Caspar who was upstairs.

"Yeh!?" He replied.

"What you doing? I thought we were going to visit Emma tonight, it's Christmas Eve tonight remember?"

"Oh yeh, crap! I'm coming, just logging off" He said logging off his laptop.

"How could you forget about visiting your sister?" I asked jokingly.

"Ha ha ha, very funny" He said sarcastically.

Caspar's P.O.V

    I was just uploading a video and then Joe reminded me that we were supposed to be visiting my sister tonight! It was going to be a surprise for her.

   I cannot wait to visit Emma! Obviously I REALLY wanna see Emma and make sure she's doing okay! But I also SOOOO wanna see Bailey (Emma's nurse) and chat to her, do some flirting and stuff. Jokes! I just wanna catch up and hang out, because that's what normal people do in a hospital.

When we arrived....

"Hey Bailey" I said casually.

"Hey....?" She said FORGETTING MY NAME! Omg, she's forgot my name! I thought we had a thing.

"Caspar. Can I talk to you for a sec?" I said finishing her sentence. I wanted to ask if she thought us was anything to her.

"Yeh sure"

When we had found somewhere private.... (Basically 2 metres away from Joe)

"What did the other day mean to you?" I asked cautiously (not wanting to scare her away).

"It meant that we were great friends, that's it. You know I like Joe, Caspar" She said with a saddening look drooping across her face. The sun was dancing on the window panes of the hospital, the trees outside waving from above. But inside, here right now, it felt like my heart could have beat out of my chest! Like I'd just ran a marathon, the pain was never ending. I actually really liked Bailey and I still do, but I realise that I like her, I don't love her. Which makes me feel a whole lot better in this situation. Emma's accident could have ended her life, and this only ended a (what I thought was), relationship. It's nothing compared....

Joe's P.O.V

   I love Bailey, she's amazing! But she seems to just want to be around Caspar all the time.

"Joe, I have to tell you something"

"What Caspar?"

"You know Bailey?"

"Yeh, I know Bailey, very well indeed actually"

"Yeh, well.... She doesn't like or love me, she wants you Joe. So go be with her, treat her well Joe, please treat her well" Caspar said to me so disappointed.

"Thank you Caspar, I will. I'm sorry mate, you'll find someone who loves you just the way you are" I told Caspar patting him on the shoulder and going to join Bailey who had gone and sat behind reception.

"Bailey, is it true?"

"Is what true?" She said confused.

"That you don't like Caspar, you like me?"

"What answer do you want, there's two?"

"I want yours Bailey, I want your answer just the way it is"

"Well.... Yes then, it is true" She said with her head hanging low.

"Hey" I said comforting her, and lifting her head to look into my eyes slowly with my the top of my hand.

"Do you like me too Joe?" She asks doubting me.

"Yes Bailey, yes I do" I said gently kissing her on the cheek.

"I liked you from day one" She said with the biggest grin growing on her face.

"And so did I babe" I said making the first move forward in the relationship.

Bailey's P.O.V

    Im feel so bad for letting Caspar down but I couldn't hide my feelings for Joe any longer! What was done had to be done some day. Im in love with Joe and he called me 'babe' today as well!!!! I must be the happiest person alive right now, I'm buzzing!
We will just have to make our way around the fact that my boyfriends roommate likes me, but it'll be fine in the end.

    Ive got to break the massive news to Emma, Caspar and Joe tonight! Emma will be going home with them! I cannot wait to see there reactions when they find out she will be going home for Christmas day....

Gathered around Emmas hospital bed (not for long though)....

"So guys, I have some news. Whether its good or bad, you will find out when I tell you."

"Tell us quick, get it over with" Emma said feeling disappointed.

"Emma.... You will be.... Staying here-"

"I knew it!" Emma cried interrupting me and bursting into tears.

"For another half an hour!" I blabbered out as quick as I could to relieve them all.

Everyone was so giddy! All of Emmas tears turned to happy tears.

Emmas P.O.V

    Im going home!!!! Its about time! It feels like I've been waiting for this day my whole life and its finally come. I cannot wait to get out of here, I've been wearing these clothes for a few days now. Ewwwww!

    Later Christmas Eve....

We were all having the most wonderful time at Caspar and Joes mansion! Me, Caspar, Joe and even Bailey were at their house and were all staying there tonight. I literally couldn't wait!

    About 4 hours after getting back to Caspar's (which made it about 11:00pm) I started to get this churning sensation inside my chest, I couldn't quite grasp whether it was excitement or the fact that I no longer had my machine by my side supporting my heart. But I was sure it was excitement so I carried on one of the best Christmas Eves ever!

    After about 30mins of this sensation, it went! I was so releaved and felt even more free. But then another hour later (00:30am) it came back even more painful than I remember! I couldn't move without the stabbing pain getting deeper and deeper. I couldn't breath, my lungs shut off and my heart spead up. All of this causing me to hallucinate and fall into a deep deep spiral of illusions....🌪🔮🔪
