(Chapter 8)

Its been 6 hours since Prince got shot and they still wont let me see him. When we first got here they put him in surgery first thing. Said it would be 4 hours and its been 6... why cant I see him?

The doctor walked in the waiting room and looked at me "Ms.Biggs... he's okay now... the bullet only hit mucles not the spinal cord so he is doing fine. We removed the bullet and stiched him up. He's gonna need to be taken care of for the next week. Maybe he needs to stay with someone. He's back here asking for you. Follow me." the doctor stated. I followed him down a long hallway then he gestured me into a room "I'll leave you two alone. If you need help just call" the doctor said and walked away.

I walked over beside Prince, he had his eyes closed "Brianna." he said.

"Yes?"

"Thank you..."

"It was nothing really... thank you isnt nessecary."

"Yes it is... not for just saving me but coming back in the first place."

"Oh, youre welcome." I walked over to him and kissed him on the forhead. He smiled widely.

"So are we still.... boyfriend girlfriend?" he asked hopefully.

"Of course.... and I have to admit. I really REALLY like you... I think I might even Lo... well im not gonna say that word just yet."

"Yes! *cough*"

"Woahh... lets be carefull now... oh and it looks like youll have to move in with me for a week the doctor said."

"Oh snap we gone be roommates."

"Yeah... just for a week then you can take care of yourself."

"Cool" Prince said....

"So... ive got to go clean my house. I'll tell them to call me when I can come get you okay. Amber's outside waiting for me." I said.

"Alright... but one last thing... come here."

I walked over to him. "What chu want Puff Puff?" I said laughing afterwards.

"Can you kiss me again? Please?" He said softly looking up at me with kind eyes.

I sighed and said "Sure Prince" giving him a smile. I grabbed his hand in mine leaned in and kissed the corner of his lips carefully avoiding his lips. I still wasnt quite ready for that. 10 seconds went by and I slowly backed away my eyes still closed, my mind wondering, I hadnt even really kissed him for real but it felt so good it made my lips tingle. I cant gain all these feelings so quickly, id surely get hurt right?

"Brianna..." Prince said breaking my train of thought.

"Yes" I said throwing my eyes open.

"I love the feeling when your lips touch my skin... it feels so right. My mother once told me that when a kiss makes your lips tingle and your heart race... that means that this is your true soul mate. She said to keep them no matter what happens."

"Wow... thats interesting. I didnt even really touch your lips and my lips tingled." I said with a teasing smile. orince chuckled softly.

"Well gotta go. See you later."

"Later baby."

"Please... never mind." I said cringing at the pet name. "Bye" I said then walked out to Amber's car.
