I Confess

(Chapter 12)

I woke up to him hugging me from behind and his soft breathing tickling my ear lobes. I turned to face him and he still continued to sleep. I placed my hand on his cheek and traced his features with my thumb. His eye lashes fell so beautifully on his cheek bones and his lips were seperated slightly. The sun made his skin glow and gave his hair a brown glossy look. "I love you..." it slipped out of my mouth causing him to awake. "Brianna..." he said in a sleepy voice.  

"Yes?" I asked continuing tracing his beautiful features. 

"You just said you loved me..."  

I looked at him in his eyes and let out a sigh. "That's because I do love you." my eyes started to water... I don't want to love him... he could leave me. I can't be hurt anymore. 

"Oh Brianna..." he started as he moved my hand off his face and he moved to wear he was on his side supporting his head with his hand as I layed under him looking up into his face. "I know exactly what you're feeling... And guess what. I'm not those other guys. I know I got my treasure. I have a prize. I could never leave you... Not now, not tomorrow, not next week... not ever. Im in love with you girl and I will be until forever." he said looking at me... I was all helpless looking up at him, tears streaming down my cheek. He wiped them away with the back of his index finger then pulled me into a hug. "Ow..." he said, I acidentally touched his wound on his back.  

"Sorry..." I had completely forgot about his accident. I let go of him and tired around facing away from him.  

"It's okay... I'm fine... it still hurts a lot tho."  

"I wasn't talking about that Prince. I mean I'm sorry, but I just can't do this..." I said getting out of the bed. "I'm sorry but I'm all screwed up in the head from all of the past shit... I'm sorry but I can't love you" I stood facing away from him.  

"Oh stop it Brianna. You're not screwed up... And you can love me; you do love me." by now he was behind me. He slowly slid his hands around my waist and placed his head in my neck. "Please, you know you love me, you said it yourself... go with you're heart." he said quietly pleading. 

I couldn't resist him anymore. All the times we had flashed by in my eyes... "Im done lying to myself" I muttered under my breath.  

"What was that..." Prince said. 

I turned to him and said quickly "I love you Prince. I'm in love with you Jacob Perez... I can't let you go, and I can't see you with anyone else. I want you to be with me... I want to have you in my house... in OUR house.... I just..." I grabbed his head and kissed him with all I had, I didn't hold back. He digged his fingers in my hips and held me tightly.  

I guess his soreness wasn't bothering him anymore because he picked me up and threw me on the bed and climbed on top of me. He began to kiss my neck and I held onto his shoulder blades pulling him closer. Then he stopped and moved off of me. "We can't do this now... It's not gonna be as good as it could be.... when I marry you." he said as he stood up straight and pulled a ring out from under his pillow and got down on his knee in front of me "Will you marry me?" he asked. 

"Will I.... marry.... you?....." I said in shock. 

"Yes that's what I said, will you marry me?"
