1 week after Zant's attack..
The Pirate Ship creaked and shook in the great storm..
Rain and lightning pounded against the great sea.. it was an ocean over 600 kilometers across. At most, considering that the sea was only so large, it would probably take around 2 days to sail across in ideal conditions considering the ship's size and speed. But the distance from land had been upped from 2 days to 5 thanks to the terrible weather conditions.
Outside on the deck of the ship.. pirates pulled on ropes and strained against the storm, as the first mate.. a muscular man with a red bandana, a sword, and tan skin, named Gonzo, yelled out. "ALRIGHT MAGGOTS! GET A MOVE ON!!! THIS STORM IS GETTING WORSE AND WORSE!! AND IF WE DON'T GET MISS TETRA TO THE HEALER IN OUTSET ISLAND!! HER PROGRAM WILL BE DELETED!! SO MOVE IT!!!"
Down below deck.. a short quite pirate with bunny teeth knelt next to the sick tan skinned blonde girl in bed, looking feverish, and dazed.
"Where... is she Niko?" The girl asked.
"R-right here Ms Tetra!" said Niko. "Just as you asked."
A girl, whose face was obscured in the darkness, came out and held Tetra's hand. "Are you okay Ms. Tetra?"
"I'm afraid.. my time is up.. the wounds Zant gave me.. are too much.. my programming is fading.. my Fluctlight will soon move on to the afterlife.." said Tetra.
"NO!" said the girl. "You can't leave.. I have so many questions.. who am I really? What is this place?"
Tetra smiled. "I can't answer these questions any more then you can.. however, I do know you're a great leader.. and a good friend.. even if I've only known you for a week. You've got spunk.. and.. I'm proud to give you your first promotion.."
"Pr-promotion?"
"You.. are Captain now.." said Tetra. "Take care of these men.. they may be just Fluctlights.. but.. they're the greatest people I've ever known.."
Tetra closed her eyes, still smiling, before disappearing in a golden light, shattering into polygons.
Niko wiped a tear from his eye. "S-so.. what are your orders... Ms. Misaka?"
"Sail on.." Mikoto said, looking at Niko. "And keep looking.."
