Mia's pov
~~~~~~~~
"This is really fun!" I exclaimed as I was making cupcakes with Oliver, "Thanks for letting me bake with you."Oliver smiled and said, "No problem." I put the remaining cupcakes in the oven.
"Hey Oliver...," I muttered, "Can I ask you something and you won't be upset if I ask it?"
Oliver nodded and said, "Yeah, is something wrong, poppet?"
"Do you wear makeup?" I questioned. Oliver blushed and looked down.
"Y-Yes..." He answered in a small voice, "How'd you know?"
"Well, when you whipped the flour off your face, your makeup came off too," I explained. He nodded quietly and was still looking down.
"Why...do you wear makeup?" I questioned.
"It's because..." Oliver sighed, "It's because....I'm ugly."
"WHAT?!" I exclaimed, "What makes you think that?"
"I have...freckles..." He mumbled. I huffed a sigh and got out a wet rag.
"Here...wipe your entire face with this rag," I uttered.
"Why-"
"Just trust me, ok?" Oliver nodded and wiped his face and put the rag on the counter after he was done. Oliver was right. He did have freckles...
AND THEY WERE SO CUTE!!!!
"Oliver...all your makeup is gone now-"
"NO! I'M UGLY!" He yelled in despair as he covered his face. I frowned as I took Oliver's hands away from his face and looked into his baby blue eyes.
"Oliver...you aren't ugly. You are super cute. Definitely with those freckles! Don't be afraid to show your true-self, ok?" I smiled softly at him before giving him a hug. I whispered, "Everyone is beautiful in their own way...never forget that."
I felt Oliver hug me back and whisper, "Ok..." We let go of each other and smiled.
Suddenly, Luciano ran in the room and uttered, "Oliver-" He saw me and growled, "Put her back in her room NOW!"
Oliver sighed, "Oh come on Lu-"
"No Oliver...it's time," Luciano stated. I looked at both of them confused before Oliver lead me back to my cell.
"Sorry we had to cut our baking time short, poppet, but...this is really important," His frown soon turned into an evil grin as he uttered, "very important." He then left and locked my door.
I grew very uneasy. The only time he made that expression was when he talked about killing someone. I had to figure out what was going on! I took out the key that Gilen gave me and grabbed my flower crown. I put in on and proceeded to unlock my cell door. I ran out of my cell, my fake angel wings still following behind me. I looked everywhere and didn't see a single soul.
Suddenly, I was pinned against the wall. I gasped on impact and looked up.
It was Francois.
But this time...he didn't have a cigar. He had a smirk on his lips and an unknown expression was in his eyes.
"Bonjour little angel," he mumbled.
"H-Hi..." I stuttered.
"What are you doing out of your cell...and by yourself?" He asked.
"Well, I h-heard something was going on and I wanted to know what it was," I answered honestly.
He saw the key in my hands and shook his head, "Tsk tsk...you have your cell key again." Francois took the key right out of my hand put it in his pocket. I squirmed and tried to reach for the key that Gilen gave me.
