Chapter 50

Mia's pov

I woke up with a huge stretch. I looked over to my side and saw Mattie still sleeping. He looked so peacefully that I couldn't help, but smile. I gently kissed his forehead and I saw him smile in his sleep. I giggled quietly as I got up and went into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and combed my messy hair before going to check the calender in the kitchen. I frowned as I immediately saw it.

No...it couldn't be....

On the calender, it read June 21st. It was....already the summer solstice again.

It's like...someone just made this day appear for no reason.

I sighed lightly as I heard someone come down the stairs. I looked up and saw Canada. He smiled sadly at me as he came towards me. He then hugged me and kissed my forehead.

"I knew this day would come eventually...." He mumbled in my ear, "I'm really...going to miss you." I hugged him back.

"No, don't act all sad now," I said, "We still have a whole day left." It was true. My friends and I had until sundown before we went back to our world. I pulled away from the hug and saw Mattie nod.

"You're right, maple leaf," He replied, "Come on, let's get all of your stuff ready." I smiled softly and nodded as we headed up to Canada's room...

Third Person pov

Today was a day filled with both happiness and sadness. It was a day to reminisce on old memories. It was...the day to say goodbye. That's what Mia knew at least. She felt her heart fill with such a saddness that it was hard for her to smile, but she did anyway, for Canada's sake. Mia got changed into the clothes she wore on the first day they arrived. She smiled softly as she stared out at the mirror.

Everyone decided that today everyone would be at the meeting hall to hang out....together. Once Mia was finished getting ready, they headed out.

Once they arrived to the front of the building, they were greeted by hugs from Francis and Alfred. Mia and Matthew smiled as they hugged back. After that, they all went inside and found everyone in the huge lobby. And by everyone....I mean everyone. The 2ps were there, the Nordics...everyone.

"Hi Mia!" Ashton exclaimed to the short girl as she hugged her. Mia smiled and hugged back.

"Did you give them the thing we made while babysitting Sealand?" Mia asked.

Ashton nodded and answered, "Yes I did. I gave it to Ludwig and told him to have everyone watch it when we leave." Mia nodded as she continued to hug Ashton.

"Hey Mia," Jessica uttered. Mia let go of Ashton and grinned before saying hi to Jessica. Once everyone else missing showed up, people sat around on the couches of the lobby and talked about the great memories over the year.

"Hey Ashton?" England asked, "Do you remember when you and Jessica beat up France at his house because of Mia?" Ashton and Jessica laughed as they nodded. They did remember that. Of course, they now feel a little bit guilty, but it was still a tad bit fun to them.

"Oh!" Hungary chirped, "Remember Mia's birthday dunkings?"

Mia paled as she muttered, "Oh dear....how could I forget that." She then giggled and said, "Who remembers America's birthday party. That party game was so much fun." All of the 1ps agreed as Allen smirked.

"Remember when we kidnapped you three?" He questioned as he pointed at Jessica, Ashton, and Mia.

The three girls nodded as Jessica said, "F*ck yeah I do. I also remember all of our 2ps. Mine is of course still with me. Ashton's  is still dead and Mia's well...."
