Wrecked

Chapter 4

<B>vCarly's P.O.V. </B>

"Okay guys, first thing we must do is look for any injured survivors, after we will decide how we take care of the deceased." I tell my group

"Hey I see someone! Over there!" I hear Ashley call.

We all rush over to the person. The first thing I notice is their leg is broken it bent and twisted in many direction that are impossible. The others notice as well. Aedan the strong one of the group picks her up and brings her back to camp.

When we arrive at camp we bring her under the medical tent we set up before we left. Its just a tarp swung over some trees but its better than nothing.

She has several cuts and bruises that I have Olivia tend to. I have Kamryn go find two straight sticks, so I can make a splint for her leg and I find a piece of fabric to hold the sticks in place. Once Kamryn returns with the sticks I make the splint. The girl starts to wake up and I quickly make Ashley run and get her some of our water. Our water supply is depleting quickly we will have to find a freshwater stream soon.

After the water, she starts to come to, she says her name is Frankie.

<B> Andrew's P.O.V. </B>

After Carly's group leave, I start putting a search group together. I learn the names of these people.

There's Mikayla (a fairly energetic girl), Michaela who I have decided on calling "Mick" to eliminate any confusion (she won't say more than two to me =( Oh I guess some just don't talk much) and there's Kalyn (a girl who is a little opinionated).

We set off to search the remains of the ship first.

As we go in the ship we see remains of people who did not survive the impact, we will have to inform the "rescue" group about them.

In our scavenging of the ship we find a little bit of preserved and some dehydrated foods, like fruits and nuts. Only problem is this supply won't last long...

"Everyone look what I found!" We hear Mikayla exclaim.

We all rush over to see in someone's suitcase she found some antibiotics and a first aid kit.

"Way to go!" I exclaim "this will be perfect for Carly's group!"

She blushes a little proud of herself and giggles. She's cute when she giggles, No no Andrew don't think like that! We're on a scavenging mission no time for this nonsense!

"Andrew are you okay?" Mick asks a little concerned.

"Ya, I'm fine just thinking to myself." I reply "let's keep looking for anything clothes, water, food, medicine, a radio, anything you find will help"

"Ok sounds good," Ashley says "let's go look up in the guest rooms on the next level."

We all head up and instantly regret it...

"Look out!" Mikayla calls. As she throws herself in front of a falling chest to save me. It immediately runs her over and she hits her head and is knocked unconscious.

"Pourquooooiiiiiiiiiiii?" My French coming out screams. She sacrificed herself for me...

"Everyone calm down, we have to get her to Carly," Mick tries to reason. It seems I can't move though I'm stuck still in shock why would she sacrifice herself for me? No one has every hardly even noticed me before...

<B> **Flashback** </B>

"You're such a disgrace I never want to see you again!" My mother screams at me.

"I'm so sorry, I'll try harder!" I reply my voice quivering as I speak.

"I said I never want to see you again! Why couldn't you be like your sister! Get out! And don't even think about coming back!" She screams.

No one ever understood me I was just different from everyone else why couldn't they just see that? So I took what few belongings I had. I got a boat ticket because I couldn't afford a plane ticket and boarded the boat and set off to discover my purpose in the world.

<B> **End of Flashback** </B>

"Come on Andrew lets go back to camp," Mick calls, "Kalyn can you carry Mikayla? I'll help Andrew back."

"Sure, whatever" Kalyn remarks. I'm still not sure about her...

We make our way to the beach and Carly spots us and comes running toward us.

"What happened?!???" Carly says.

"Mi-mi-Mikayla saved my life please help her!" I choke out.

"I'll try my best... Andrew come with me." She demands.

"O-ok" I stutter.

"Ashley, Aedan, Kamryn come quick!" She calls.

They come running. "Ashley and Aedan go with the girls, Kam you help me bring Mikayla back to base. I'll get Andrew."

We head off towards base running. I hope we can save her...
