(A/N) Hey guys I just want to apologize for not updating in forever. I'm sorry. I will definitely be trying to update more often I promise. -Brie
P.S. all comments and suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Here we go...
Olivia's P.O.V.
I told them... they finally know. I just can't believe she left me, she promised she'd never leave me. It wasn't her choice though... They killed her, her life was stolen and I WILL find Them I'll do this for her and they will pay dearly I promise...
Aedan's P.O.V.
We all just watch Olivia in shock, no one expected that... She goes through what looks like a state of shock, to grief, to thinking and then finally anger and determination. Uh-oh this is not going to good whatever she's thinking...
"Okay guys from now on I go on all the hunting trips and explorations." She declares leaving no room for argument. I see out of the corner of my eye Mikayla roll her eyes and then Olivia gives her a death glare and she quickly stops.
"Okay well I have something I must work on, Liv care to join me?" I ask in attempt to break the tension. Olivia nods and together her and I walk to the edge of the forest to put the finishing touches on my "surprise."
When we arrive I show Olivia what I have been working on the past few days and the way she smiles at it made it worth all the pain and effort. This project will make more than one person happy, I'm glad.
In the evening, Ashley's P.O.V.
"Hey Ash, I have something for you." Aedan exclaims with a big smile on his face. This can either turn pleasant or extremely funny.
He quickly walks away and seconds later returns with something wrapped in giant tree leaves. He hands it to me and its a peculiar object. This thing looks bulky and heavy, but it's surprisingly super light.
"We'll would you open it already or am I going to have to do it for you?" He asks jokingly. I take my eyes off the object to see Kamryn, Max and Olivia walk in with knowing smirks on their faces.
"If this is something evil you're going to regret it, all of you." I warn, they all just chuckle.
Carefully I unwrap the object and as I see it, I gasp and almost drop the object before quickly grabbing it back.
"Aedan did you build this?" I ask tears are starting to well up in my eyes. Darn this island, I've never been the emotional kind before I go here, now I'm a emotional mess!
"Well, ya but Kam came up with the calculations of it, Max helped with the gathering of supplies, I did the shaping and monitoring and Liv did the fine details." He said kind of embarrassedly.
There in front of me laid a perfectly carved leg, made to fit where my leg once was it had the exact width and dimensions. It looked so real with a knee cap, muscles, toes and toe nails everything to match my other leg. I could definitely pick out Olivia's work. It had an anklet on it, painted toe nails and even a tattoo that said Carl on it in fancy letters. This leg... Wait no MY leg was beautiful.
So perfect it even had little attachments so it could attach itself to me. I lost it I started bawling.
Aedan rushed over to me and I quickly gathered him in a hug, "Thank you," I whispered, "it's the best gift anyone's ever given me."
With that, he scoops me into his arms and bring me to a nice stump where he placed me down. There he promptly attached my new prosthetic. Carefully, he set me on it and helped aid me by holding onto my hand until I walked around a little to get the feel of my new leg.
Eventually, I convinced him I could do it by myself. I took a couple wobbly steps and it brought a song to mind.
"YOU PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER IN SOON YOU ARE WALKING ACROSS THE FLOOR, YOU PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER AND SOON YOU ARE WALKING OUT THE DOOR!" I scream/sing.
At first Aedan is in shock by my little outburst, but then he bursts into laughter. "Isn't that from a children's Christmas movie?" He comments. I nod and he chuckles.
"Okay well little Miss Claus it's time to go back and join the others." He declares. I nod and let out a big yawn. Who knew walking could be so tiring.
He sets me back on the stump takes me leg off and lifts me up and carries me back to camp.
Before we even reach camp, I am passed out for a much needed good night's sleep.
