Y/N's P.O.V
A overpowering scent smacked me in the face, it was strong, my mate was near. I followed the scent, anxious for the moment I've been waiting for. The party was crowded and I hadn't been prepared to maneuver around people to get to him, but I guess it happens.
I accidentally bumped into one person, who angrily glared at me as I apologized and kept walking. I stumbled a bit, tripping on a crack in the floorboards. I started falling forward, face first, when a pair of strong arms gripped my arms from under my shoulders and lifted me back up.
However helped me was now hugging me from behind and nuzzling his face in my neck.
"Hey mate." He mumbled, allowing me to figure out it was Ash.
"Hey, wait did you say mate? Like your mate?" I questioned. I sniffed for my mate and the overpowering, and amazing smell of (whatever you want) was radiating off of him. "Oh my gosh! Your my mate!" I exclaimed. "I really thought it would be Autumn or somebody else. I didn't expect it to be me as your mate." I rambled.
"Y/N. I knew you were my mate all along as soon as you taught us about mating. I just was waiting for you to figure it out. I'm two years than you, remember?" Ashton reminded.
"Oh my gosh! I remember now." I stated. "I'm Ashton Irwin's mate." I muttered.
"And that's a good thing, right?" Ashton asked.
"A great thing!"
