Finally! After centuries, more exact 401 bloody years I have found her again. My sweet, my love, Ravenna. She looked the same from the last time I saw her. I saw one imperfection, a marriage band on her finger. That made me shutter. I felt my gum throb but I kept my fangs from showing.
I wanted to know everything about her and her new life. It made me shake to think that someone else runs their fingers over her body. Her sexy, chiseled body. I was almost foaming at the mouth think about what I was going to do with that lover of hers.
She saw me looking at the ring then I smiled, but it was too late she read me. Still has that ability I see. I couldn't help but to ask her about it.
"So your married? Lucky lady?" She smiled and I felt my dark heart melt just like it used to.
"Yep married eight years to my amazing wife." I felt my fangs slowly come out but I stuck them back in.
"What's her name?"
"Morgana." I was thinking about this mortal that ran her hands through my sweet's thick brown hair. I could smell it was a mortal. It wasn't odd that a wolf settles with a mortal, but she is my wolf and I needed to know more about this filthy mortal.
"So does she work here?" I asked, "Or does she work at another law firm?"
She chuckled, "Nope she works at the art gallery downtown." I nodded she was killing me with her beautiful smile. But something stumped me. And I just had to ask.
"Does she know about you?"
She looked very confused then she looked like she understood, "Yep she knows about my promotion today." She looked like she really meant it. I looked at her face again.... She did mean it. How couldn't she know that she was a wolf? That's not possible. But I played along.
"She must be proud." She smiled again and this time I could see her canines. It was natural for a wolf to do that in the presents of a vampire. She quickly looked down then turned from me. She knew, she was just putting on a poker face. Well played my dear. I put my hand on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry it's just you smell weird then my teeth.... Please tell no one." I chuckled
"You have nothing to worry about my dear." I whispered in her ear, "I'm good at keeping secrets." She looked at me and smiled. She quickly put her canines away as the door opened to the 13th floor.
